knn i tink its time for bikers to learn martial art kungfu, etc. than we can *CHOP CHOP CHOP* them.

I guess martial art kungfu also no use, GUN is better.

I thought a thought. But the thought I thought wasn't the thought I thought I thought. If the thought I thought I thought had been the thought I thought, I wouldn't have thought so much.

Should have these kind of weapons with charged ammo. Scare these mutha f***ers off.

Stoop so low as to rob and steal. What more near a police station. Ought to be shot to death and body parts dismembered and fed to animals.

i tink the only way to avoid this kind of situation is to change currency in singapore first then when in jb straight away head to the petrol station, pump and jiao!

bro, if u r going if for petrol only, i would suggest u go pump at SG SPC petrol station...

u jus pay a bit more as compared to JB petrol. that a bit more money goes to your "bike insurance" and ur "life insurance"...

hope u get wat i mean.

for myself, after reading so many forum postings and newspapers articles on bike mishaps and also advices from forumers, i seldom go JB for petrol already.

if there is a need to go in, i always make sure my bike is less than 5 meters away from me and be very alert at every second im in JB.

nevertheless, if u guys are going in JB frequent for petrol and ciggy, jus be extra cautious... :sian:

Or best, try as much as possible for us Singaporeans to boycott Malaysia just like the previous time where there were lots of mugging, assault, murder and robbery on Singaporeans.

i agree... boycott them all. no topping up of petrol, no makan, no ciggy. best is the cars oso boycott them as well. make their economy drop.

but that can even make things worse by forcing them to come in here n do their dirty job. cos those who do all these might b desperate. :sian:

Hi Guys,

Im posting this without the victim's knowledge...(i created the account for him)

Me n my bf went to jb at abt 11++ pm on sat nite 20th april. Cut the story short. Abt 4 muggers beat up my bf, took his long time fav helmet, hp,bike key n finally his prized beauty, DRZ400 which is only 3wks old.

The best part, all these happen at the money changer opposite compact hotel, near SHELL by the main road, abt 10m away from the police HQ and under 2 cctv.

To top it up, I was rather devastated and dissapointed how those bystanders reacted. No one came to help. I saw an acquaintance who is in SOC n he too didnt help but just rode away. Before entering JB custom, i borrowed a pen in fact frm his gf n thrs no way they didnt noe me as we exchanged words.

I read forum exhanges on stolen bike but not assault. We got it all like a package. Lucky for us, there were no weapons used n tts the only consolation I have for my bf. I thank god that he isnt hurt in anyway that could have maimed him. N from that very night I choose to want to believe the cliche of wat goes around comes around as I have been cursing those muggers every nite when all this while I took no solace in that phrase.

Rite now, I greatly appreciate if anyone could provide me contacts on those selling spark135 as he nids it for work urgently. As well as info on insurance claim under fire theft 1st party for AXA.

sorry to hear about ur case sis ..it's sad to know an acquaintance who's from SOC merely rode off instead of helping but the consoling part is that u and ur bf are alright ..........

JB is never a safe place with the highest crime rate in msia ......in cases where self defense is needed, dun forget about ur helmets bro, it's a gd self defense tool ...

for those who say self defense will lead to further provocation and consequences, it's just a natural instinct to fend for ourself when there's no one else to help us ......

to each his own alright...

tkc sis and wish ur bf speedy recovery.

Here are some suggested precautions but no guarantee:-

1.Avoid jb town ,go less popular place like tamanU, gelang petah, bukit indah etc for yr ciggies & petrol & dvds.

2.Take precautions - wear full face, armoured jacket & leather gloves with carbon fibre knuckles, plus riding boots . Coz it not only protects you during riding, you also look intimidating to violent robbers.

3.Chain your bike to a lamp post or to yr friend's bike, install bike alarm, lock yr steering at all times - when bike is parked away from yr sight.

4.Make sure you hv fire & theft insurance before stepping into malaysia.

Lots of precautions plus a tiny bit of luck will make you & yr bike safe. Don't just depend on luck alone.

i heard stories from frens... the reason bystanders dont help is becos they them self are afraid of getting beaten up..

the scenario is... the syndicate member who are not doin the dirty work are actually standing by somewhere near in case someone tries to intervine.. the person who intervine will be chase down and beaen up also..

I feel that is like a "Singaporean" area in JB... If all the Singaporeans around lend a helping such as even just shout "police police!", it should help a little... Not fcuking stand there watch free show!

Just to share:

To be honest, even in Singapore it happens... got a female friend of mine got rob at Serangoon area (the roundabout area), as she is small size, they grab her by her hair drag her along the main road, 2 guys (foreigner workers according to her), snatch her wallet and all... But all the "Singaporeans" ( i mean typical "kia si" type ones) just "see show" imagine this!! In our on country, our own countrymen also just "KPO"... WTF!! One of the heavenly virtues of "Singaporeans" "Kia si"...

My condolences for all hurt and lost the both of you are feeling now, but if i was there (without my GF), i sure will go in with my helmet and help!

It is a sad sight to see fellow countrymen leaving their own people in a lurch... :nono:

i agree with you totally bro ....helping one another is one of the ways to deter ...these arse dare to rob cos they think no one will help if it happens ...

but sadly, there are many factors detering others from helping and lending a needy hand in times of such crisis .......

a sad fact of reality ....

but glad to know someone shares the same sentiments.
