Nokia 6280

I gt a N6280 ... barely 1yr old .... but giving me some problems liao ... anyone experience like ky msg half way .. screen disappear .. yes .. all the colour pixels dissolved to a blank screen.. and sometimes cannot call in and call out ... And ... hang there sometimes when using ...

 

Anyone with these problems went to service centre and flash their firmware and all the problems solved?

i tink its ur firmware bro.. try to have nokia reprogram.. since its less than a year old..

use ur warranty..

i scare after they flash firmware .. the problem gets worse and frequency of hangs increase ... so ask around n c first...

If it's still warranty, get it back to Nokia shop...

My same problem was solved after I brought it to upgrade firmware

had a gf whom was working with nokia before.. what she told me was that nokia uses old parts for replacements of damaged parts and she advises me to sell off my phone at a lower price rather than to send it back for "repairs".. problem doesn't get solved permanently and seriously, really time consuming going through the queues at the service centre

Your girl friend was working in Nokia Care during the 2000 - 2003 period?

 

I believe they used to do that. But now, the replacements are all new parts.

From my experience, there is nothing wrong with the firmware. It sounds more like a Hardware problem. If its still under warrenty, bring back to nokia to fix it.

thanks .. didnt get to see the reply until i chance upon this thread again .... still haven repair yet ... no time ... wierd phone .. can be ok for few months then will get phone hang problems for 2 days then go back to normal for few months .. wierd ....

hi....how much doest it cost to change the LCD screen(N6280) coz mine totally dark...where is cheap & on the spot repair..??
