havent got a bike at the moment..

but it makes a difference for cars tho..

the choice u make will have to depend on the octane level and ur engine compression ratio..

eg lower compression ratio will not be able to effectively utilise the higer octane .. therefore filling up high octane fuel is kinda wasteful.. BUT you will feel some difference...

similarly, high compression engines will not tolerate low octane fuel..

i'm not too sure wats the compression ratio for bikes..

at this moment, i think all the fuels available should be the same as they all come from our local refinery.. shell is the only imported one i think..

ya...it does contribute a little to ur milage per tank but still alot of factors comes into the picture...

1) riding style

2) riding done most on small roads/xpressway

3) tyre pressure

4) is ur bike jetting/needle stock sizing

blah blah blah..

actually no as much as the way u ride your bike.

if u don't rev engine above 4k rpm during pickup speed n riding top gear at 80 kph, u can last longer distance with the fuel energy saved.

 so diff brand of petrol will giv us diff mileage...anybody tried petrol frm sg and know which gives most mileage??

part 1: obvious. diff brands diff mileage.

part 2: not so obvious. diff strokes for diff folks. likewise, diff fuel shows diff results in diff bikes.

(p/s: someone will surely say xyz brand is better zyx brand. well, like the krr that runs for 380km b4 a fuel stop... u take things said here with a pinch of salt)
