Hi Wengz, really?! Gilera is not high maintenance? I read everywhere that the prices for their parts are sky high.

Depends on what type of person u r.

 

I know of a fren who is riding a nexus 300. The clutch sound is like riding the dry clutch ducati already.

 

But still it can move. Point a to b bike.

 

Anyways, so far not alot of complaints yet that is major for the bike other the usual transmission wear n tear which is ready available.

And defined high maintenance lar. Imo all scooter is already high maintenance.

 

Need to really stick to the service intervals

 

Roller belt clutch bell is really a common wear n tear for scoots

Just collected my SRMax yesterday evening. Still running in. Have noticed plasticky smell.. maybe the engine running in.

OOOOOH..... Just saw it. Nice foxy design. The front panel looks like a fox face. I like foxes. But I'm a salary man. Will need to get the white colour one. Anyone else combine purchase?

Sexy right, I feel scooter is the lowest maintenance for a motorcycle (correct me if i'm wrong) from now to 50K mileage I only need to do basic EO, oil filter, spark plug etc. Foir nexus500 I was told that valve clearance is every 50K (I'm like wtf). In between u will definitely have some wear and tear like fork seal, suspension, water pump, battery etc but thats within 50K (damn long) other than that I think its a easy to maintain vehicle compare to others

If you are true to your words, i dont see any reason why you wouldn't be getting this.

Have not tried a v twin so this scoot maybe my venture to a v twin

So it can be affordable n it can also be expensive to maintain.

Should be the same as mine? dont think SR max changed much from Nexus 300. But yours is dual disc laaa.

That's quite a job, I think u will need to customize your caliper bracket

1 more problem i have with nexus 300 is when cruising at 80-90km/hr,suddenly theres no petrol going in & the bike starts to jerk & then stopped.But manage to start back immediately.Hope all the guru's here can answer:)

The no petrol issue sounds like a fuel pump problem or maybe water in your tank? Guru pls help.
