hey people....my GT200 sometime tends to have problems starting up...there is a easy way to overcome this is to put off the bike from main stand, Start and throttle at the same time. However, is this sympton normal or? I just bought 2 weeks ago...

 

 

try not to throttle too much, jus an effortless little twist will do.

Hold on to the brake lever as well. Some riders dont squeeze it enough.

u can, but it won't be as stable as the main stand.

Yes. Original vespa part. But it is a spring-back action, so be careful.

Thinking of getting a scooter and feels this looks the best.

But there doesnt seems to be much info on this bike here.

So hope someone can help answer some of my questions or direct me a link before I visit any motorshop.

 

How much is this scooter approximately?

(Without insurance or OTR, i need a approximate pricing)

 

How much is the 3rd party insurance for a 22yr old age, 1 year riding age?

hey guys, i am into my 2nd tank of petrol for my gt200. the FC seems like not very good,

1st Tank - 160km until the fuel light lighted **

2nd Tank - seems like gng to clock the same distance....

 

comment anyone?

I too get around 100 miles per 7 liters of gas, that about 23 km/li. My bike's mileage is around 300+, hope to get better FC once break in period lapse.

i just discovered that the milege meter is in miles. So to correct,

 

1st Tank - 144miles

2nd Tank - 161 miles (257.6km) - 8.2L

 

which means my FC is 31km/litre....i waiting for my 3rd tank to have an accurate reading.

hey guys...im new to this forum...but have been quite sometimes in sgbikes...any one cud recommend me to a great wrkshp to service my gt200...i just bought my gt200 for like 2 mths...n it seems theres vibration when im moving off at slw spd from stop line when theres a pillion...isit bcoz of the belting? coz im d 2nd owner n i ddnt know when is the last time the previous owner did his/her last full servicing...and how much cud it cost for a full servicing...? tnx aite..

You can try ASPhoon. I just did a package, change belt, rollers, oil filter, oil change and spark plug for $200. I thought that was very reasonable.
