still pondering whether to take class 2 or not.

 

roughly how much for class 2, how many lessons, need to take theory n how long to get license?

 

which centre now has the better facilities?

Same here, years ago took and failed twice. cos of narrow plank and bumpy course. :cry:

 

Anyone can update whats the practical will be doing. Also theroy lesson required?

No theory.

Pract 1 - figure 8, crank, slope, plank slalom

Pract 2 - ebrake and bumpy

Pract 3 - practical evaluation

 

If I remember correctly, guards are needed only on pract 2.

 

Used to be that you could book test date on enrollment. Now cannot liao. Gotta clear all pracs then they let u book.

I was riding near ssdc the other day saw a guy in a 3 wheeler with L plate behind and a instructor following behind.

 

Anyone know What class is that?

I think its special class 2B for ppl with disabilities but wanna ride 3 wheel scooter. I also saw it!

nowadays amk ssdc used for what? still can take lesson at amk?

 

Amk ssdc doesn't teach bikes anymore. There is no circuit there.

Use for class 3 for people that stays near the area for practical lessons if I not wrong.

anyone enrol online before? how do we get the booklet? i enrol online on tues and will doing my first prac tmr

 

Go down an hour earlier before your first lesson start, go to the registration counter with a photograph to get your class 2 booklet and have your photo pasted, then u can proceed for your lesson.

I believe nervous produce fear and it makes me fail in tests.

2A 3 time pass.

2.... next week 1st time.

Hello friends.

 

Need your help to understand one thing. just enrolled in woodlands for 2A license. last week i went for my first class and failed, the instructor said that I am using excessive clutch specially while emergency braking. (I have converted my foreign license to sing) i have been driving +10 years..

 

dont want to fail again :(

 

can some of you please advice, are we supposed to use clutch at all while e. braking. coz if i don't use clutch the bike will stall / go dead. is it supposed to be like this, please reply :)

ssdc tp waiting time is around 2 months... not sure if that's considered fast as i got all my license from ssdc only...

in eBrake even if the bike stall it's ok.

 

clutch in too early is not good.

 

achieve the right speed.

brake and clutch in just before u get into a full stop

You pay money to SSDC and got instructors there you don't ask, you come here to ask?

Anyway, clutching in too early is a very common mistake riders with experience make. For E-brake wait until the bike is just about to stop then put your fingers out to clutch in. Don't even put your fingers on the clutch lever before that.

Forget whatever you know about riding in your +10 years. Listen to the instructors and do what they say. They know what the testers look out for better than anyone else.
