just to share too... personal opinion... broquet has no effect on new bikes or relatively new bikes of the first few years... also broquet has no effect on higher octane petrols... i used it on my previous bike... to me, it's like waste of monie...

Yeah. I never understand the claims behind those fuel broquet and "catalysts", or those magnets which claim to improve FC. No scientific basis.

hei guys, i had my maiden skid off my bike after a heavy rain last wed. My bike has lots of scratches on the right side and i may need to change my handle bar, balancers and foot pegs. probably wanna do my servcing plus carbon wrap my exhaust too. Can any of the kind souls recommend any shops which have a towing service plus all these aesthetics and maintenance services?

baffle off more for top end horsepower, for normal street riding it should be dyno with the baffle on?

not sure though, but form what i know, for normal riding we do with baffle on, so even if with tuned with baffle off, there will not be much difference, unless the info i got was wrong...cant remember which fz forum i read this from >.

I know y yours improve.. cos stock too soft. You go really high rpm then shiok.. aftermarket no need yo rev so high also can hear shiok sound already.. mid rpm you change gear. Lol.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

Glad you also enjoyed the voodoo of Meguiar's Metal polish. :D

Made me smile when I saw the exhaust headers of my FZ1 when i first used it. Yahoo!!! :D

Try it on the brake/ clutch levers too bro!

The black stains/ weathering will be gone also. :)

the new army towel is better, micro fibre gene

I missed my army days, was formally from 3rd Guards.

Strangely enough, my bike, stock pipe with header cat removed, and airbox cut open, gets 230km to 250km till reserve.

It's mostly 230km. But I do get the odd 250km from time to time. Most notably the last 2 topups.

I can't explain why either. I keep it to 4 - 5K rpm on local roads mainly.

On the other hand, when I do get naughty and do a little throttle masturbation, it could drop to 210 @ reserve, most notably North of Chinapore.

Wao, very good & interesting, stock exhaust with de-cat, wonder how it sounds like. I belief it does not emits so much heat now at the rear.

just sharing my FC guys.. doin 220-230km before goin reserve. Decat done with remus pipe. today goin unique to get the b5t broquet as my previous s4 do have fc improvements after installing broquet.

Perhaps, the next few weeks you can share with us your FC.

you can try running your bike for a while until the headers are hot, then you can apply the polishing cream onto them.you will find much much easier to remove all the stubborn stains or rust.but please remember to put on thick full cuff cotton gloves to prevent your skins from touching the metal parts.using normal polishing method is slow and tiring.
