:) I had just bought a new Frazer 600 07 model, I think Im having a problem of the bike with high fuel consumption. 270km hit Reserve liao. Pump abt 15L... I find it high Consumption. :angry:

 

Does Voltage stab and grounding help?? Can this FI ver of Frazer in Voltage Stab?? K&N filter help?

There are many factor that affect FC. Did you mod your bike, cos

certain mod might result higher FC. Another factor is also your riding

method, the way you ride, and also the traffic condition. If you always

encounter jam during peak period naturally FC will be higher.

 

My bike FC is around 20km to 22km, per liter. travel at 100km/hr

Guess which word had this meaning.

 

1. Any code or set of principles containing different provisions for one group of people than for another, esp. an unwritten code of sexual behavior permitting men more freedom than women.

 

2. A set of principles permitting greater opportunity or liberty to one than to another, especially the granting of greater sexual freedom to men than to women.

 

3. A set of principles establishing different provisions for one group than another; also, specifically, allowing men more sexual freedom than women.

I am wondering should I get the new FZ07 or a 2nd hand Fazer.

I will be using the bike for at least 3 years, I think. More if I buy 1st hand.

 

Fellow riders are selling 04 bikes for around 9K, and when I asked the bike shops, I was quoted around 14K for a new bike.

 

What's the price you got your bikes for and for those who bought new, did you get 1st party insurance. Because that is one main reason I am holding back.

The insurer quoted me around 1.6K for 1st party and around 1.1K for 2nd. That's alot of hard-earned money. (20% NCD, no claims before, age 28)

The thing is I can afford this bike, but I don't know whether will it make economic sense if I sell after 3 years should I get new.

What are your advice people?

Get the new Fazer 600.

Reason: Upgraded brakes. At least for me, safety always come first. And since you said you have the money, then i think its better to get something better.

 

Newer bike, lesser things to repair. I bought mine for 13.8k and was given 2nd party insurance.

It's like throwing away good money.

Maybe it because I've yet to hit the 28 yrs old age group?

 

Also, I am not sure is it advisable to get 1st party for new bikes.

Been riding 2nd hand bikes so far, and if suay bike damaged, not so heart pain.

 

Will be thinking this dilemma for some time before I plonk down my hard earned $$$.

I think for first hand bike, if can afford 1st party insurance, then just get it. In case anything happen (touchwood), at least still got money to repair. My friend got 2nd party insurance for his K6, kena accident, in the end need to fork out 7k cash for the repair cuz can't claim his own insurance (self-skid).... :faint:

just renewed my insurance yesterday for FZ6N, ANDA 1st party around $900+, 2nd party around $650. cant remember the exact figures. and i'm 24. hope this gives you some light.
