I had the puig BD windscreen on my FZ6 before.Makes the bike looks sporty.Only 2 in singapore.

i bought my Givi touring windshield for S$160.50 @ MAH for FZ1 07. Ask a lady rider how much she bought her yamaha org windsheild, her reply was S$200plus to S$300.00.

I dun know how to explain in simple text of how it occur , but my theory is tat when drop to the left , most of the weight tend to shift toward the ground due to gravity , so the right side will be more stress due to the pull of the gravity .

 

Similiar concept is tat u take a plastic tube , hold both ends n try to break it by bending it downwards , then u can c the effect .

i used the givi windshield about 1 mth sold it away already ...it creates a vaccum like effect around the waist ... bringing the shirt up when riding ...and causes alot of buffering at helmet level

am currently using ermax for my fazer6. i think its like 10cm higher than stock. very nice for touring. cut wind ar. HAHAHA

Wah... buffering at helmet level?

 

To buffer means

- Something that lessens or absorbs the shock of an impact

 

So this thing lessens the shock of the air particles impact you at helmet level?

 

 

 

 

 

 

More than likely you mean BUFFETING at helmet level.

Buffet

- to strike against or push repeatedly: (eg: The wind buffeted the house. )

- To strike against forcefully; batter: (eg: winds that buffeted the tent)

 

Means you get hit on the helmet area/height and pushed around by the turbulence of the wind/airflow.

 

 

 

Alternatively, a buffet also means

- a meal set out on a buffet at which guests help themselves

 

In which case, you're probably riding behind a MacDonald's supply truck whose driver forgot to close the rear hatch... and the salads, burger patties, bread, fries and etc are flying out the back and smacking you in the helmet.... All of this just for $5.99 per head 12pm to 2pm.
