thanks for the reply.

From the responses, i guess that turning off the electrical system before the fans are cut off should not have any adverse effects on long term engine damage ya.

to what i see, yamaha would have make it auto off if can not ture off if tempreture is high

Don't worry abt it la. Metal cool down slowly is better than a rapid cool down. The engine is quite hardy.

FZ1 Gen 2, the fans will kick in after 100deg and it will stop at 93deg.

But usually I will just switch it off. As it will take sometime for the engine to cool down while stationary.

I think for the G-Shock speedo u have to press and hold either the reset button or the other button in one of the menus to see the temp. The other day i accidentally got into the temp setting when i wanted to reset the clock.

Was looking for 600 initially,

Then compared with the 1000 styling, ended up choosing the latter.

Never regret :) Get 1000 if you can afford :)

Dey,

To wrap seats in SG, you can try going to Eugene's Saddlery. Located at Syed Alwi (Mustafa Center) road, the end of the road towards Ah Boy, where it meets Jalan Besar. Opposite the MacDonalds. It's a corner unit.

Anyway, I did my Fazer 6 seat there. Tri-color, for under $90. The guy's friendly, but quite popular so try to avoid the busy weekends. He has a choice of materials/textures and colors there. And you can discuss designs with him.

Best if you got something you like, bring him a magazine pic or printout. But he's also quite proactive and will suggest some of his own.
