Mine Gen 1 FZS1000, 3nd party Fire and theft 700-800 odd only.

The excess is a crappy $1300 though.

 

Ya , agar-ation one lah . Anyway , i believe vehicle age plays a part in the premiums too . M lucky to get a $955 quote from NTUC tis yr for a 2yr old bike for my gen 2 . Best of all , can get 6mths instalment n pay by Giro . :thumb:

Class 2 bike should change their EO once every 5000Km and oil filter can change once after 10000Km.

so every 5000 u change EO w/o the oil filter?

Normal oil filter can last 10,000kms meh?

wouldnt it be really full of crap in it?

We term the carb model Gen1 n the FI model Gen 2 . :angel:

 

Urs is gen2 unless its a Gen1 carb ver registered in 07 . Anyway , both the gen 2 06 & 07 have gold forks . The onli difference is the color scheme n minor adjustments to the engine.

AHhaa, i use Hi Flow filter,

bt if u got the spare cash, you can change the filter every EO change.

I mean if the filter is full then the EO would start to get dirty right? Anyways what does the rest do? Filter change at 10,000kms? safe?

in the Owner's Manual, is stated change EO every 10000km

and change filter every 20000km.

oh... i just found out tat 1 of my front fender screws wenting missing.

guess it's due to the vibrations, can't be stolen.

screws can be purcahse from any normal hardware shop.

 

so guys, check yr screws/bolts/nuts regularly.

Just got back from an excellent ride today to the Belumut Waterfalls!

 

It was my very first ride with the guys and they are great!

 

Good lead bike and a great sweeper all the time. I knew i was in safe company.

 

Never doubted for a sec that we could be lost.

 

Afterall.... there was a Zumo leading the way!!

 

Thanks to James996 and everyone that has taken great planning to organise today's trip.

 

Anyone who is keen and really loves riding should join the gang during their weekend rides!

Anyone interested to get K&N air filter for their bike? If can get an order of say 5, I can check with the distributor.

 

Hi Guys, sorry for the delay in update. I've spoken to the distributor and with our volume, they can offer only 10% of the RRP and it doesnt include installation, which to me is not worth the effort. Unless we can get a volume of abt 20-30pieces, I believe you can get a better deal at your local motoshop hence I am not proceeding with the MO.
