Oh crap...

I am having this problem where my IU backlight doesnt go off even after switching off my bike and taking out the cashcard.

It just remains on.

This is troubling me. Any of you guys encountered before?

Try disconnecting it from the batt n connect back again . Should be ok . If not , maybe got free IU change .

the present IU has been around for at least a good 10 years, i think it's time to have a review of that ugly thingy for something smaller like a IC chip size thingy.

Just to confirm my experience with my trip into JB via 2nd Link yesterday.

I was topping up at GP ESSO and there was no problems nor issues. They have also clearly pasted some notice regarding the foreign vehicles topping up issue.

Everyone, bikes and cars included, are able to top up until further notice.

I have re confirmed this again on the way out after my day ride at Shell on the way back to Tuas. They have consistently kept with the information on foreign vehicles.

Seems like they are going to convene in another meeting to clarify on the petrol subsidy "problem"

Until then..............

Wah lao. U think the Cheng Hu cares abt how fugly it is? :(

The thing was actually designed for cars. And us bikes, paying less for road tax and such, incl ERP, are just a 2nd class inconvenience for them. They won't bother miniaturizing the IU for us.

Plus our IU's are not exactly water proof.

Mine got spoilt i reckon because of the heavy rain riding i did earlier in the week. The rubber sealing isnt too good.
