Maybe it'd be easier to swap the headlights/fairing off an S.

 

Ya , tats wat my fren observed as he was considered the FZ1N . N the FZ1N doesnt have the pillion grab rails too .

He plans to get one if its possible to fix a mainstand .

Yes.. Both N and S model share the same frame with mainstand mounting.

Yes its possible.OEM mainstand cost near to $500.Cheaper options,H&B and SW Motech,$200-$300.(But you will find it harder to put on mainstand as the legs are shorter.)

Hi all,

 

I am looking to order the Pyramid Fender Extender for the Fazer. It is a functional addition to the front fender. It can be securely installed with 3M tape and/or screws and/or you can also reinforce with epoxy like one of our fellow rider!!

 

"Designed to protect your bike from debris thrown up by the front tyre.

 

The extenda fender helps keep rider and bike cleaner, cuts down on paint damage on the lower fairing and also protects important parts of the bike such as the radiator and oil cooler.

It should fit all Fazers but i am particularly keen on one for my 2008 FZ1-N (FZ1-S should be exactly the same!!)

 

I am looking to see if there is any interest within our community to see if i can get a couple of us keen on the item.

 

If so, i can take this interest to shop and work something out with them. I have enquired that it cost $65 but we got to wait for the next shipment. I hope to expedite this when we have a bigger interest!

This was answered a couple of days ago. Prices should not vary too much.

 

If you are looking at Second Hand... there are a few avenues like SBF Used Bikes Section and/or go around shopping at the bike shops. The prices at bike shops wont be fantastic.

 

Try get a deal with a private seller!

machine price is ard there. Got my 08 FZ6 S2 blue ard that value. OTR range from 14K+ - 15K+.

if u do not wan to DIY. Mayb can try juzz wheels. They will help u paste the stickers. But nt cheap.

normally on the handle bar. some put under the seat but sensing nt gd.

- crushbar or sliders better? Which shop?

sliders looks nicer. crushbar helps to protect ur engine provided that u drop ur bike. if anything worst than that, put anything oso no use.

FZ6S more on touring as it has the windscreen. looks fiercer. thats wat i tink. FZ6N is obviously naked. without the front crowl. white 1 looks good.

dun really check. i just ride. no petrol just pump.

last ride was a super 4 verS. similar.

I am pretty certain it will fit. I will double check on this for you!!

 

It will help with protecting lil bits from getting flung from the road onto the headers!! Once there is a kink... it will not look as nice!!

hi guys, im new to this forum and and juz recently got myself FZ1 carb model...juz wondering wat EO should i use, intent to use the bike for long distance touring, so should i use full syn or semi-syn is good enuf for the engine? Thnx..and which shop offers the best price for EO. so far, my fren told me, motul semi syn 20w50 cost $12 at dunlop street.

 

Deh, I riding the FZ1 carb model also. Got it 1/2 a year ago.

 

E.O. I used the Maxima Maxum4 Synthetic extra. Not bad, but quite exp at ard $20 a bottle.

Note to the OKT for the Fender Extender - If i remember correctly, all u need are the numbers, i.e u just need to make up 5 ppl, every one of the 5 can order the extender that suits his/her bike model.

 

Like I said again "if i remember correctly" so best u check out with the infamous one!
