U can try m-technik.

They can get them for u but most likely advice u against it as a no. of their buyers noted that quality is lacking.

can u elaborate more regarding the quality?

i do like sw-motech racks because of its clean look if no box is fitted..

but quality will always surpass gd looks because that's wat matters most.

I wanted to enquire and order sw-motech as it allows diff. brands of boxes to be fitted. But when I asked they said can order no prob, but a no. of their customers come back and show them paint flaking, attachments not to solid, at speed, boxes and adaptors apparently vibrate a fair bit compared to the other brands for similar prices.

paint flaking is not a problem..

but attachments not to solid is something that needs to be look at.. i don't want my panniers to drop while riding..

vibrations.. one more type of vibrations to add on to the other vibrations.. not to gd.. i don't need anymore vibrations,

Got the sw motech racks installed and doing >250km/h with no major concern.

Dont really notice about the vibrations... at that speed ought to worry about the lines in front.

IMO get the sw motch rack for clean looks ;)

are u in hurry? because i am still waiting if there's anyone who is selling 2nd hand..

i'll give it about a mths wait before pondering on the next move...

have u ordered from twistedthrottle before? reliable? How's the waiting time?

Ordering from the States will take about 8-10 working days... i have not any problem buying things from overseas ...yet... (touch wood!!) Do look out for purchases above SGD400 as they want to "tax - 7%" you..but only sometimes

I have had pleasant experiences.

I am looking to order the SW Motec Alu Top Rack adapter for the Gen1.

How much are the SW motech racks for Givi V35? Can tong pang too?

Bro, If i order i can tong pang no worries. But cannot exceed to siam the GST lor....

WOW.... CAN I BE THE INSTRUCTOR?

Whahahah... i also saw that... i knew this would happen.... tot it would come from another source.... lol

U be instructor... i be the tank!!!

U can try m-technik.

Well... Mtechnik does HnB racks.... SW Motec... still our frens at biketech21.

Quality lacking?? or service lacking? hmmmm.....

not a fan of biketech or mtechnic

but i dun understand why would one rack differs between the 2 shops. I bought HB rack from mtechnic, SW rack from biketech... both served me well with my HB panniers.

if you are comparing the 2 brands, of cos i think HB racks are more solid with regards to proper design for use with HB boxes and panniers.

SW racks are designed so that it will accept various brands of boxes and panniers, so it naturally has different adapters for different usage. Said adapters are, IMO, not as solid as generic racks for genric boxes..... as in GIVI rack for GIVI boxes, KRAUSER racks for KRAUSER boxes, HB for HB etc...

But having use the SW rack with my HB panniers, i find that it serves my purpose. So far, i haven't lost any panniers.

But what do i know, i just ride slow. :shades:

The current prices for racks and boxes are reasonable leh. I got my 30 litre HnB side panniers with rack at Mtechnik for 04 FZ6 for $880. For 40 litre is $910. The racks for FZ1 can't work out to be too far off $600. Call them to enquire.

I compared prices with Biketech, Chiap Lee and HKL. HKL takes stock from Chiap Lee to install. Mtechnik is still cheaper by more than a hundred bucks or two. Biketeck was the most expensive and they mod non original rack.

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

Yup, thats true.

Generic parts for its intended use is always going to fit specific pieces better.

Just dont want things to start self jettison when Im on the freeway. :giddy:

BTW, H&B Alu exclusive are really nice.

4.5k for topbox, panniers and adaptors. :thumb:

I believe the LCD remote is rechargable?

Does this come with a perimeter sensor? DIY - issit complicated? Otherwise maybe i could do with some help.

I am actually inclined toward the SPY 2 Way...coz the remote is AAA battery powered.

Dunno... but everyone here uses the Stalemate!

yah..chargable. but if u leave the lcd on...it'll last for up to 3mth.

theres no perimeter sensor...nt useful unless u park at jungle.lolx.

steelmate indeed is the most affortable alarm so far. :p

Good good!!

I will make a decision soon... i got 4 persons for stalemate!!!

And zero for SPY......

I think i will go for SPY.... lol... yeah... coz they are the same price.... and have remotes with AAA batteries... functions about the same... (as if i know!!)

But i will give review....
