Theft rate of components (this time is headlight protectors levers & master pumps) & easy removal items has been on the rise these 2 mths again.

A month back Jln Membina. A few weeks back in Tampines. Now it struck Bishan. Riders who went to buy replacement reservoirs were heard as victims even from Sengkang, Tiong Bahru, Central, Clementi etc...More than a total of 20++ bikes have been victims.

All the bikes in the same MSCP have been struck. Even OEM components/stuffs are not spared. Lost items vary from $200~$1000.

What's a riding belt? For what one?

issit something like seatbelts?:giddy:

Hmm... no lah...

Its a back protector...which also gives support to the back/waist....

It help compresses the back and thus giving me a little more support.

I guess it does the basic. Which is what i only need.

are u refering to kidney belts or back protectors? I would believe they serve different functions altogether.. kidney belts give you back support whereas the back protectors, as their name suggests, protects your spine.. Having said that, i've seen back protectors with thick elastic waist belt.. i wonder if that helps.. anyone?

I think the clover ones goes for just above 100.. not sure what else are there in the market..

oooOOooooo first time i heard this thing :p

i'm still curious how it gives the back support though.. mm... novel to this thing.. like.. keep the back straight by being stiff? reduce fatigue by preventing slouching? etc... mm..

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

I got a kidney belt from Komine and a Dainese back protector that goes half way up my back. It does its job with protection i guess but the thick belts when strapped up nicely does provide compression to the hip/waist area.... thus supporting like an ankle brace.

It reduces fatigue i guess.... the tightening of the belt also squeezes your tummy thus a lot of the time i ride long distances.... i seldom feel hungry... wahahhaha...lol...... its like an OTO massage belt!!!

so does it need both kidney belt & back protector to help ease the pain from the spine area?

now i know why those beefy guys benching a hundred kilos wear those belts in the gym. I always thought they were too fat and needed compression in the tummy. :offtopic:

How was the sunday morning ride?

Due to a massive party last Sat nite at SJ and the nite went on taking out a lot of powerful drinkers...

:gun: :gun:I did not go for the morning ride:p ... i left the party early and still got home at 230am and after my cup o noodle and shower... i slept at 330am.

My dad went to the ride and they had a great time!!! They even went to Desaru after the event.:bounce: :bounce:

As for my wife and i............ we actually went on a impromptu day trip with my "estate mates"!!..........It was the outing of the "Gold Estate"... went to experience a nice day of pamper dinner/R&R at Nusajaya. Really nice place :thumb: :thumb: and we are thinking of heading there next week too!!! :bounce: :bounce:
