Not much bikes on display.... Only got rep from Yamaha and Honda. The booths displays r ppl from Motoworld, Raceworks and Bikelab. Got good discount on Fazer 1 remus endcan wit power commander going for only $1300 for both items.

Crack no need to change. Go to the shop next to Racewerks and have it patched & resprayed.

hi, I am riding fzr 1...07 model and recently eng making funny sound... it's likes those V twin engine sounds and no pick up also ... i've to play the throttle for a few times and the sound goes away. after that riding back to normal... but this cycle happens quite often throughout the rides... can anyone help...what's the problem and where to get it fix...thank you

Locally?? Try Eugene Saddlery or 219.... they do a decent enough job.

 

But for the real thing.... either Sargent (firmer than stock and perfect for me!!) or Corbin (a lil hard for my liking)

Am in Hualien, Taiwan right now. Have been here since last Saturday. One more week to go.

 

Just rented myself a scooter here and am gonna carve the mountain roads up Taroko national park tomorrow. (Maybe try to rent one in Taipei when I enter there on the 9th Oct! )

 

Will have pics. But I doubt it will be too exciting as the scoot definitely does NOT have the grunt of a FZ1 or R1.

 

Anyway, from what I've experienced so far, Taiwan roads are super interesting... especially the mountain twisties. Route 9 from Fonggang to Taitung is a freaking BLAST. More twisties than Cameron or Genting and for a longer distance too.

 

The coastal road from Kaoshiung to Kenting is power. Nice beach sceneries... nice b1tch sceneries too, esp in their bikinies. Lotsa twistie roads. Heh... Taroko is a blast, but can be dangerous with the sheer drops (if you hit the barricades) and the ascending/descending tour buses.

The Cameron trip is still on. Deepavali. I've left my Fazer with a friend to take care while I'm gone... and if he doesn't wreck it (touchwood.... touchwood...) we shd b good to go!!

Should have pass it to me. I will park it at the special lot at my carpark and borrow a LV pipe which belong to Mikkel but currently sitting at Katana's place to fix on it.

So what did everyone do this weekend??

 

I am just crashing out in bed all weekend....boring!! My usual bike wash hunt is not open due to Hari Raya!!

 

I know a couple of you probably had fun at our little fun oasis in Bukit Indah/ Nusajaya!! Would have liked to join everyone just to hang out...

 

Also great to know one of us bought a couple of new toys for the bike!! I am sure he will make his Fazer work its ass off when he hits the NS highway!! Just enough time for the EPIC ride in December!!! We'll ride / fly out this time round!!

 

So now to wait for tonite's Liverpool game!!! Go Reds!!!
