Hope you are refering to the new darkside..... the new darkside is fine.

 

The old one is burning.....and we can get that back....:dozed:

anyone selling spare brake and clutch levers for fz6 04 model please pm me ur contact number.

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

update on darkside redirecting to home page issue.

 

The support staff at proboards did some changes to their system which caused our darkside to keep redirecting to home page. I have contacted them, but at this moment they should be fast asleep in USA.

Give them time to resolve our darkside issue ya

remove your bookmark on the darkside and retype the darkside address. Should do the trick. or click link below

1st change at 0km - change to mineral

every 500km change until u hit 2000km.

 

run up n down ur gears. dun baby it too much but dun redline it either. :thumb:

 

- tot new bike, EO shd change at 1k, 3k & 5k (km)?

every 500km is like 2 full-tank petrol gota change EO liao? :giddy:

 

- yah, agree. muz somehow open throttle. dun sayang 2 much like travel only below 90kmh.

 

- so far, i find FZ6S is a very good bike base on my personal riding style.

wen at top gear of 90kmh, w/o dropping gear, can simply squeez e throttle & e mid-range punch reali cums in.

e FZ6S wil hit 140kmh w/o fuss. (dun wack, spoilt faster. wack, travel faster) kinda true. :thumb:

 

- so far e 2 complaints r -> stock BT020 not sticky enough. street riding makes e rear seat hot.

really meh every 500km, i not so rich leh, coe went up to $1889 now, heart pain uh from $1554...

 

any opinions on wheather the new IU unit fit in the seat compartment of fz6???...thinking of doing this after seeing my 1098 fren do this

- IU put under seat? think it wil b kinda hot dn there. It may not b detectable by e gantry.

 

- Put it (1) between e clutch & e inition key-hole. Bracket fasten 2 clutch lever clamp's bolt, longer bolt. IU abt 45-60deg.

or (2) between e brake fluid container & right side handle bar bolts, vertically.

 

- so how much u bought ur bike?

stock BT020 not sticky enough.:

 

BT020 is a decent tire if you are looking for lasting tires.Stickiness is not one of its strong forte.

Be careful of what you said,later all the so called 'Cats lovers' will hunt you down.

 

I feel the heartpain for you too...Thats why I hate cats and those so called 'Cats Lovers' who always like to feed the cats in the open.Please bring them home and feed till they like.

- cats urine to mark its territory.. so if a cat urined on ur seat, u'll likely to see the same cat sleeping on ur seat everytime.

 

- if u park ur bike outdoor and canvas it, u'll see that cats will come to ur bike more often esp if its cold rainy season due to warmth under the canvas.

 

- one way i find effective is to wash ur bikeseat thoroughly with a good smelling soap to clear urine.. spray a good amount of Armourall (i heard a small amount of vinegar works but i haven't tried it yet) on the seat..cats do not like sweet smelling odour.. it's like a repellent to them.. So far i have good results with these even with my bike fully covered.

i don't hate cats but i don't like those who like to feed cats in the open.. If they like cats so much, bring those cats home and feed them.. let the cats stay in their house. Once u'll see someone feeding stray cats, u'll see the number of cats will increase in due time in the area..

and more bikeseats will be scratched and torn by them..

Ya man.You know how bad our area is with cats...I tried insecticide around the area of the bike,keep the cats and small insects away...
