See the above link of how amazing from Sports version to naked version. I am wondering, can it be vice versa? From naked to fairing possible?Is the body frame the same with those bots and nuts holes to mount the fairing?

ANyone in Singapore had done it before,from naked to fairing?:cheeky:

Erm, check your air filter? My FC was 20km/l avg for the past 1 yr, recently it drops slightly to 19-20km/l. Perhaps due to dirty air filter.

It could also be, you didnt pump full to the brim. Thats the reason why you getting lesser Mileage be4 hitting reserve.

u might b right...i always pump on side stand. But shell dun let be pump on the bike. Next time i put on main stand n monitor...

Yeah, thas the reason why I gave up on shell. I'm pumping esso right now. Its easier to pump in esso. Pump finished, tap the speedpass and good to go :thumb:

thanks bro,was really sweating just now(physically and mentally),worried like hell...stopping at a junction,temperature still maintain at 80-90 degrees,how u guys tahan...changing to which coolants help? how much? advisable to change now?

What I did was I DIY to remove the Catalyst in the mid section of the exhaust. Or the so called Y-pipe. Alternatively, you can always go for aftermarket Y-pipe, damage around 150-200.

2ndly, change to an aftermarket exhaust, that will reduce some heat as well.

may i know where did you place your speedpass? together with the bike key like a keychain?

i placed mine together with the key like a keychain.. my bike had encountered 3 times of funny/weird stuff on the speedo panel when i turn on the ignition.. duno if the speedpass is the cause of it.

Placed mine with the box keys. Not together with the bike keys. Didn't encounter anything yet .

FZ6S to FZ6N is easier.

if u can afford (in terms of $$), custom make brackets for speedo, headlight, signal lights.

if u're 1 of those like mi (poor), go buy a decent & durable bracket & start to DIY.

this project is in 1 of my list before, but decided to call it off.

b'cos i luv my bike the way it's =)

double check whether is it in miles or in KM. I was mistaken as well when i bought my FZ6S recently. it was showing 21000+ miles actually and i tot it was KM. after taking the bike out of shop then i realised and changed it to KM. it was showing abt 34k+KM. Hope this helps.

Erm, seriously, i agree with katana. Its expensive. Lets do some calculation here, since you've asked.

285 X 48(4yrs) = 13680

DP = 2000

Total = 15680.

Brand new FZ6 cost, lets say OTR 16k with insurance (difference age, price varies).

16k - 2k = 14k

4.5% per yr.

14000 X 1.225(interest based on 48mths with 4.5% each yr) = 17150

Now, its 17k and your 15.6k. One is brand new, other is FX? Perhaps its an old plate but 07 model?

now that the "buy, buy, buy" part of Fazerians mentality has been fulfilled, time to move on to another Fazerian mentality,... "if dun like then sell cheap cheap". :cheeky:

Just ride it.
