Wish to ask if anyone had installed Remus revolution exhausts on the older Fazer 1000 before? On a 2002 fazer...the shop says it cant fix in properly, need to send to do some wielding first...just wondering will it still looks nice?

anyone has done it before? any pics? thanks alot!

Or are there any other aftermarket exhausts models that will fit perfectly with a UK 2002 fazer? anyone can advise?

 

Btw, is Yoshimura tri oval slip on street legal here?

remus revolution exhaust if it is meant for the gen1 fz1 shoul fix properly, no need any mod, one of our riders had it for a few years before changing to MIVV exhaust

Hi bro, where u got ur Yoshi fixed? Juzt direct switch and use, no modding to bike or tuning to carbs needed? Will the centre stand be affected?

Please advise.

motorworld brings them in..yes direct fit, done nothing to the carbs except change the advancer a degree up from the stock to reduce backfiring and better pick-up. advancer also can be ordered from motorworld, think i am using 3 degree

Thanks for the above replies! Luckily didnt agree to mod it....thought was abit strange...maybe the guy didnt know well...

 

How much is the yoshi tri oval? Where u bought it from?

Does it fit in properly? dont need to do any mod?

 

How much is total with installation and registration? Heard need to bring for inspection? how much is that too?

 

How much is the advancer? is it a must to change it also?

 

What do u do with the original exhaust? keep as spare, or does the shop do any sort of trade-in?

i fitted mine up in 2005 when i first got the bike, i think it is better to go motorworld and get the latest pricing ya

yes you need to send for homologation at any LTA approved inspection centers

depends on how bad is your backfiring after installing the exhaust, it may not be necessary for your bike set up

Btw, I am thinking of changing to Yoshi too, but the main reason is the sound.

It's sounds much better than the weeny stock can.

Other than this, what other tangible benefits does an after market exhaust offer?

I am thinking if the alloy version, not carbon.

it only gives about 1 or 2 bhp increase, other than that it just for cosmetic purpose. go for the titanium version, carbon can only last about 5 years before delamination and decoloring that place.

I guess he is trying to reserve some parking space for his fellow biker friends. The parking lots r to big unlike the foodcourt or kopitiam tables n chairs to place some tiny weeny packets of tissue paper to chope the spot. Typical singaporean....
