Thats how i judge a pipe.(juz the exhuast)

 

Performance+design+price= (ans)

I give it 10 upon 10 (10/10)

 

eg. 7(performance) +6(design)+7(price) =20/30

 

 

Roughly estimate for FZ1 & 6 legalise aftermarket exhuast.

 

 

Leo Vince-9+8+9=26pt

Scorpion-7+7+7=21pt

Remus-7+7+9=23pt

GPR-7+7+8=22pt

Yoshimura-8+9+7=24pt (FZ6)

Akrapovic-9+10+6=26pt

Arrow-10+8+7=25pt

Gianelli-7+6+9=22pt

Micron-7+7+9=23pt

lazer-8+7+8=23pt

etc..

 

 

so overall i'll prefer LV as the price is few hundred cheaper den Arkra.

Lastly is on ur preference...i'll prefer a shorter exhuast for a better low range.

I actually just saw 1 this afternoon while riding on the PIE headed to Jurong.

The chap was turning off into Toa Payoh.

I must say the pipes DO NOT look good if coupled with a top box.

In fact i didn't really recognize it as a fazer when i was behind.

If you wanna put Lazer..... make sure no top box.....

Saw the AirBox Mod article in http://www.fz6-forum.com and decided to give it a go.

 

Was washing my bike for the NBW convoy, thinking, what the heck, time to slice the air box. Took me 20mins to finish the whole process. Did everything with a small saw bought from Mustafa, 2bucks.

 

Tested with KNN filter and yoshi exhaust. The low end has better grunt, more bassy and definitely "feels" more powerful. I guess it has 0.1 or 0bhp increase, it just "feels" more powerful.

Hey urgent question to find out before i go down NBW . Juz saw asphoon ads on no interest for yamaha bike. Anyone know about this ? How much is fazer 600 and 1000 ??? machine price i mean . Need to do some calculation by confirming whether to buy anot . if it is true 0% interest it's really tempting sia. hopefully someone will update me on the lastest price for fazer. Thanks

fz6 ball park figure from asphoon(just bought 1):

 

1.Machine + Coe = $14.8k

2.Insurance = $1k (my age 22, TPFT, AXA)

3.Interest = 5 % per year(0% interest off from 1st year by AsPhoon) calculate by (total-downpayment x Y years intrest)

Total = 1 + 2 - (downpayment) + 3

honest speaking the 4pipe* lazer exhuast dun really fit on the existing bracket of FZ6...i find it abit weird wif so big lobang...but for VFR..swee*

its noe as RAD ram air direct...which own by actual founder...suzuki(SRAD)

lolx...indeed it'll increase the performance...but...the lifespend for recharging the airfilter wil be shorten by almost 1/2...which means u need to was the airfilter at 20k km. lolx:thumb:
