hahhahhha... yeahhhh... i can imagine when we're at a parking lot and struggling to get it in.. u cut yr seat u say? Where at?

my seat was cut by the previous owner.. i believe shops tt rewrap seats can do it.. i do feel like cutting it thinner, but im afraid too thin will affect the comfort especially on bumpy roads..

guys, can anyone enlighten me whether its advisable to spray WD40 into my ignition key hole? my key hole is giving me a big headache.. it takes alot of effort to switch my ignition to on since i got my bike last week.. this morning it suddenly became real difficult to switch on.. it took me a few minutes to on my ignition each time today... hope its not because someone tempered with it... i understand the ignition is equipped with an electronic device tt sync with the key, tts y im afraid to apply WD40... called bikeshop and they asked me to apply WD40 though.. im still unsure... anyone can advise??

U can try to get some white grease from Bike shop. For electrical or electronics. Works wonders. never had the problem again after the last application more than 6 months ago.

I can help you to adjust ur preload. Let me know when you wanna adjust.

Cheers!!

Bro, its okay.. I just got it done when I went down to bike pro.. but like no diff lehh.. im kinda resorting to customizing/cutting my seat and just deflate my tyres a lil... at the current height, im kinda tip-toeing!!

Also checked out motorworld at kaki bukit..they suggested the idea of my getting a new bracket[anyone knows where to purchase such brackets?] and installing it thus lowering it.. which i think would costs lots..

Man... it sure does pay to be short.

what brackets are they talking abt?

I believe they are referring to lowering links or dog bones. Some lowering links are not highway safe but for "show" only. So get the correct ones.

it brings the bike down but as DeusExMachina says.. it will affect the overall geometry of the bike thus riding it will be totally different. Could be good could be bad......

U'll possibly need to modify the main stand and side stand to accomodate the lowered ride.

Hi all, i had just downpay for a new FZ1-N.

However, there's one thing i wish to check with you guys.

My motor insurance was quote $1900++(1630 after 15% NCD) for a TPFT with NTUC. Is there any cheaper premium out there??

Yeah... and im kinda against this. Guess i'll stick to riding it after a month or two.. Get the shocks seasoned, hopefully it'll drop a little after sometime...
