As for EO change, I've managed to speak to Unique Motors to give our fazer guys for $70. (3 Bottles Maxima Extra + Original Oil Filter). Just head on down and look for Kelvin. Mention to him that you know dnt and you're going for the maxima oil change package.

Ok...i bot mine at total of 14.6K, OTR. Machine price is 10.9K. Model shld be 08, if i'm not mistaken..not much diff btwn the 2 eh? Whether cheap or not, not too sure. According to em, at albert, Yamaha having promotion. Hah...so ya, i bot it.

Freebies wld be HEL brake hoses, 4 sliders, light protectors, and a 50%disc on a tankbra. Other than that, 2 lousy helmuts and a bike cover. Tried to get more, but was unsuccessfull.Typical sporean, always trying to get the best out of every deal. Hehe.

Not too sure abt the 1yr Yamaha warranty, but i do get a 3x oil change for free.., if that helps?

also, really wanna instal a scotoiler and fairrings for my bike, but still not much choices on places to go.

Either looi's or HL are the only 2 place i know, currently.

No worries,

you should try the FP60 and LC20 that my guys are bringing in. Good stuff man. and its only $10 a bottle. PM me if you need some. gives me about 2-3km/litre more than what i used to get. Oh and I normally pump JB petrol and I find that it smoothens out the rev range. Better throttle response.

never go full system if your ride is going to do more travelling in sg. Without the EXUP, your ride will not be as comfy. Lotsa R & D have gone into EXUP, it not worth removing it.

Actually I tend to do 110 at 4.5K or 120 at 5K. That RPM range gives the best fuel economy, nevermind the damned speed limit. Better mileage.

I am quite ok with my 18km/L FC, considering I do 60-70km everyday.

 

Just changed a new chain, it's amazing what a new chain does to a bike. Feels real good. Oh yes!!!!

FZ6 08 bros, is there any tick tick sound coming from your engine when stationary? Mine has this sound and when accelerating got another sound, dunno how to describe. sound heard only when accelerating, let go of throttle sound is gone. Any1 encounter this behaviour?
