Pls get an original battery n charge it fully b4 using . U dun wan a lemon battery 6mths ltr on . N its not funny stranded out there wif a dead batt in the middle of the nite .

think the best is to have voltmeter...

 

but one of the few tell tail signs i know is when turned key to on cannot even crank start...no lights, horn no sound....anybody care to add?

yeah... cos batt die, so no choice... just buy and use... if die, then change again lor... its not an option to run without battery leh...

Hi everyone! Just got my FZ6S last wk and i'm lovin it!:slurp:

 

Btw, the seat wrap is not the original one cos the previous owner had it changed. The problem wit it is dat water seeps into the seat wen it rains and i have to endure water marks on my backside.. Hah...

 

Any place to recommend a water proof seat wrap? And hw much will it cost?

when crank start bike (either off or on pole lite or on every thing)

the meter will black out & then cum on...

get wat i mean...

was told by 2 mech it the batt...

check the charging (stator coil) rectifer oso ok....

Just plonk down the extra for the original.

Shd not cost you more than $200.

 

The Yuasa that I bought is exactly the same specifications and is sealed as well. Not the normally lead acid type whereby you fill up only when you want to use the battery...

 

Anyway to each his own... The more important thing is to charge up the battery before using. The voltage at no load should be at least 12.8V, nothing less.

snail horn max onli 112db i tink....

but 70 bucks kinda ex tat y put mi off buying....

tink the snail horn will do good....

I used to gt K&N on my Fz6 n Fz1...u dun really feel the diff frm btw stock n K&N.(mayb slightly as more air flown) But u definitly save more $ if u ride for long term. And n can resale as it can be reused

 

Mayb u can try on BMC also...i heard lotsa gd comment on it.

 

I still prefer same old brand as i belive K&N have the quality n stardard.

same thing available from Autobacs for around the same price. saw it a couple of days back there.

Btw, just got my bike last wk and the previous owner has the stock mirror in his on spray paint design... Any ideas hw to remove it without damaging the plastic? Wld thinner eat into the plastic?
