so which type of wind shield is good ah? any recommendations? OEM? Ermax? Puig? etc? thinking of getting a tall wind shield. ;D

Puig & MRA ok bah nw using MRA....

 

Zero gravity... nice name but the agent mezzo can let u wait quite a while bah....(tink it the ang mo at zero gravity like to dilly dailly....lol)

 

Givi.... no idea ...tink my $$ is safer with the abv mentioned brands bah....

 

Brandless... quite a few design on ebay (mostly located in HK)

pricing is very attractive.... Quality should be ok bah...

Any one using them nw ...care to comment....??

After an incident told by my kaki that one of the not well known or brandless wind screen 'flew out ' and hit the rider ( not sure how serious is the injury or die), i am kind of concern abt this type no name product.

 

Sorry dudes not to stir comotion among all. Just a piece of info to share. Sure some have heard that some 'not so well known' brand of mobile exploded and caused injuries to the user.

 

In one of the famous selling portal, there are some seller selling 'Flower' disc plate at real cheap pricing, real nice design and fancy. If you have look hard enough, you will see the diff if to compare to even our stock plates.

 

Just my 2 cents.

Hahaha. I dun own these screens, just happened that i have these info so share out for all to see see look look. I am keen on the National Cycle for the good Wind spliting technology. Tall screen give good wind protection to the rider but at same time, drag is created too.

can consider stock touring windscreen from HL. Rather pricey though. Got mine for fz6 at $275, include installation, but have to wait 3 weeks for stock. Screen is sturdy and has negligible vibrations even at 150-180 cruising.

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

I had my windscreen almost flying off once . Now its back to stock for the time being . :faint:

You might wanna take a look at Power Bronze windshield from BikeTech.Quite affordable price.

Yamaha TZM 150

Suzuki DRZ 400

Honda CB 400

Yamaha FZ 1

Triumph Tiger 800

 

Smoother than a twin and more characterful than a four and not forgetting that lovely whistly fruity soundtrack:thumb:

didnt realised these VStreams are made by National Cycle.. I only saw the National Cycle barn door for the Gen 1.. uber huge but looks good..

 

The Vstream looks real good but comes with a pricetag.. abit more pricey than the Puig Touring but think cheaper than the local OEM touring screen.. U getting it? Let me know how it is.

ur too fast too furious liaw.. I know of this other brother of ours who found his belly pan missing after his ride.. Indeed too fast too furious..

yours is the touring wind shield or tall wind shield? seems HL have 2 types for fz6. happened to see it in their online catalogue. :smile:
