I m using the rizoma rearset... It improve shifting and braking feel.More positive. You could play with the footrest height coz stock ones place too low.

Im a regular of them also kena before.... when i take loan from them they say got no early settlement fee.... when i sell bike to another guy, they wanna charge $800 early settlement fee as the new buyer not buying insurance from them. In e end LL have to buy insurance from them and for the same cat insurance they charge 200++ more then NTUC...

From what I know, as you said. Some shops will ask you to pay an early settlement fee ON TOP of the interest you're already paying, should you want to settle the loan early. And we're not even talking about selling the bike away! What if you tio bay pio and wanna pay out? U still get ripped off!

 

This is obviously a rip off, orchestrated by these blackshop b@stards. The logic is skewed, because they are getting their money back early, which already benefits them, and they still want to rip you off further. But then that's the nature of Singapore bike shops. A majority of them are all black like the base of a bloody kettle.

 

 

 

 

Some shops will simply not rebate and will not charge early settlement either. As per my arrangement with Bike Pro, if I wanna settle the loan early... they will not charge me any settlement fee. But they will not rebate any interest either. To me... fine. Acceptable. Since we've already agreed on a certain loan period, and the business expects to earn that amount of interest from me, I can live with that.

 

I'll simply not settle early then. Maybe I'll clear the last 2 or 3 months at one go. But that's about it.

 

 

 

And then there are the shops like Loois, and finance companies like Hitachi Credit... who will actually REBATE your interest if you settle early. This also happened to me, when I sold off my R1 and full settled it partway through my loan period.

 

This would be the industry standard practice for loans... but like I said... Singapore bike shops are mostly black. So don't expect many to follow this, if at all.

 

 

 

 

 

Now, I don't know if Stan's case is that he tried to sell the bike while still under loan. Usually bike shops will try to take advantage of that fact. If you still owe them money and you want to sell the bike off, (and especially if you want to take the loan elsewhere...) they will charge you something for it.

That is why I brought my 4th bike from uncle Lee...Their selling prices are not the cheapest but I like the interest rebate and no kopi,admin fees,early settlement shits...

for fz6, u can get really get much out of an end can...maybe a few extra bhp if u dyno run and do certain adjustments...

 

For performance, top of the list is definately akra. saying this they are also the most expensive.

 

Lazer 4 way end can cost $1400 from m-teknik..not sure if there's a price revision or not:bounce:

 

Also...why waste money on a 2bro's, summore not street legal.....its damn bassy n loud alrite.....loud enough to catch TP attention...summore after that will definately kena saman and your biike will ask to get for inspection to LTA to check if got any other illegal mods in there....

Tink B*** Pro see ppl wan. rem the FZ6 u sold me last time? I took a loan from them. when i sell to the new buyer, he full cash it and they didnt charge early settlement. Tink back again, must be becoz I took another loan from them for my varadero. Den when i sell my varadero, same ting, buyer full cash it. but this time i bought another bike full cash, didnt take any loan from them. The bloody ah S*** say got early settlement. i confronted him as before signing the agreements, i already asked and he told me there was no early settlement fees. He den say that the new buyer did not buy insurance from him. tats why got early settlement fee. when agreed to buy insurance from him, the new owner cannot choose the insurance company he desire, die die have to buy the insurance he qouted, 200++ more ex den market price.

i have always only deal with loois motor since 1998, my first bike from them was a shadow 750cc, and i never look back...the rest of the earlier years were with dexing and motor sales.
