Btw, i am using 3M Stainless Steel cleaner for my heads.....

 

Quite effective lah.... almost hassle free, but if kena the engine block or when starts bike, there is a strong pungent smell for awhile.

Can...i wash with sand-blasting for you...

 

No need so troublesome lah. Just use water can already. Sand too heavy for you....

you can organise 1 open house bike wash, with foc running water, soap and waxing material, you will have lot of friends, throw in bikini girls to help wash, the whole SBF maybe there...

Hi bros. anyone can advise how to go abt selling my fz6. i still have installments with b*** pro*******. Should i just add a new sub rider or transfer the bike? able to COI for the new owner? not sure how things work out here but any other things that i need to know? please advise. thanks alot!

I got fed up with not much accessories for our GEN1 Fazers...so i took matters into my own hands. Customized them.

 

Just received the CAD drawing for a customized CNC Triple Tree for GEN1 Fazer1000. Tell me what u guys think? Oh..its clamp is straight up for oversized 1 1/8 bar.

 

Drawing for the Customized Rearset coming up soon.

 

Also in production are Carbon Fiber parts like the Side Dash Panels, Air Intake Covers, Side Panels for the GEN1 Fazer.

Hmm wif regards to CF parts for gen1....

u mates are using geniue CF or those 3M CF....

if geniue where to get...

so far tink no have in Spore....

Ebay mostly for gen2 bah.....

tinking of wrapping certain panels on the bike wif 3M CF ....

hmm.....

 

Wif regards to selling or coi....

to play safe best to change owner ....

to avoid any trouble....

even wif paper agreement between the ex rider & new rider....

it is still quite risky....

but of course if u wana let go fast .....

better check wif bike pro wat are the $$$$$$$ involve....

dun b surprise they quote u funny $$$$$$$

alamak bro, mine are custom job lah... my bike parts are used as master copy to reproduce these stuff. Currently my bike is TOTALLY naked except the tank and front head cowl and without rearset, triple tree and passenger footrest. have to sacrifice lor. Lucky got another bike to ride.

For Gen 2 cf parts aplenty. Gen 1 rider are the ones having problem looking .

there's a guy in FZ1OA forum doing . He's in USA. besides, his prices are rather high (but compare to the GYTR CF parts, its ok). think he selling his custom work like the Dash Side Panels for US$180 a pair shipped to anywhere in the USA but i dun think he ship overseas.

for cnc, its a custom job. but if any gen 1 riders interested, i can ask my contacts to make for another set using the same specs.

 

Currently it's the CNC triple tree assembly with 1 1/8inc bar clamp(for oversized scrambler bar like Tag and Renthal )

Adjustable rearset in in the pipeline. they are currently thinking of the design and CAD drawing for it.

also in the pipeline - Pillion footrest assembly (adjustable too for pillion comfort - to accomodate for touring )

well CF parts are expensive. its a known fact.

 

A plastic hugger for instance can cost about $220 (MW). how much would a real CF hugger cost? of course not $250 rite?..

 

well as for me, i just dun fancy 'carbon' look. i think its better to leave the parts oem than paste 'CF' stickers. it doesn even come close to the real thing. One look and everyone knows it's pasted on. Rather tacky in my humble opinion. Well that's just my thoughts. others may have a different view.

ya i think change owner better right. Safer for both owner and buyer. Mine is a FZ6S reg in 2006 but is the 2005 model. Installment left like 30 X $247. if buyer wants to reloan then have to pay more interest in addition to the remaining amt rite. that sucks man. more and more interest. COI seems logical but not safe lahz. Must go ask them how it works for their company.
