Hi gd day to all Fazerians, i'm very much tempted to buy either a FZ1 (N) or a FZ6S2 (N), but before tat i really wish to know ur humble opinions on certain questions as follows.

 

1) currently im owning a super 4 revo, how different is the maintenance for these cl 2 bikes?

 

2) my main concern of getting a fazer is for normal commuting to work and once in a while feel the power of a class 2 bike, for this case, a FZ6S2 is sufficient or FZ1 is recommended?

 

3) If so , whats the price difference between them both?

 

4)I read past few pages in this forum and i m seeing relatively negative comments regarding the engine being sluggish and sort. Is this prob common for only for a handful of bikes or all the same?

 

5)I heard that the engine is the same as for R1 and R6 , jus detuned a little to use it as normal bike , how much of a difference can we really see on the road?

 

6) And lastly Fazerians, do u really recommend Fazer for ur frens or is there any other naked bikes within class 2 tat might be better? instance CB1000R?

HI guys I'm selling my 5mths old blue fazer600s 2008 model $12000 - only . THE BIKE IS registered in APR 2009 -

millage below 3000km , asking for full cash . The bike is not on installment. I have JUST Renewed ROAD TAX FOR NEXT six mths so exp in APR 2010

the bike comes with additional MRA screen and crash bar bought from agent.

yup... i jus checked with kelvin when i was there for my servicing... but he said it will only be in roughly mid next month or end of next month... motoworld said end of this month or beginning of next month...

btw, r u referring to the lube tube? that is like bendable... i wonder will it be able to store the full 200ml of liquid?

sld be end of his year, then install the spocket + chain + oiler together.

 

The default resevoir last 6 hr of riding. so if u ride daily, you need to top up every 1.5 weeks.

for a FZ6 & FZ1 compared to revo....

EO same

Plugs same

oil filter slightly ex ($18 compared to $15)

tyres pay more

spares more or less (sum parts cheap sum parts ex)

do top overhual confirm CL2 more ex i believe...lol

Basically go for a Fazer if affordable for u mate...

I ride my FZS1000 to work everyday...

prev ride a ZX12R to work everyday....

many kakis here ride their fazer to work everyday....

wan power go 4 a 1000cc

end of day depends on yr pocket oso mate

insurance diff, rd tax diff, OTR diff....

for exact pricing....

check wif asp ...they are offering too competivite rates... (darn cheap)

depend on hw hard u wana ride mate.....

each to his own.....

& tat is a thing call modification ....(at yr own risks if illegal)

diff on road....

depends on rider mate....

i seen a busa tat dun go over 120km/h ever...

Fazer is nt a bad bike

wif gd spare part supports

pricing is affordable (Gen 1 or Gen 2)

Resale value oso ok...

most shop noe hw 2 do the bike...

so y nt....

fazer the way 2 go....

but as usual ...

Hi guys, anyone know where I can get aftermarket throttle plates and velocity stacks in Sg? Will have to DIY the throttle plate mod if I can't find it ( which will definately give me cold sweat like when I did the cable re-route/air box/header de-cat ) . Called and asked HKL but no reply..

Gonna Dyno tune soon when my end can arrives and really want to install these items before that.

Would appreciate if you bros can help,cheers.

You can consider getting the factory pro stacks instead of the Graves stacks.

 

I rather u buy then DIY.. unless u got a workshop to start with. otherwise, just spent and buy the aftermarket plates.
