Anyone knows why I cant view this thread?? :confused:

cos the thread is accessible to sbf fazer group pple only. you can request to join sbf fazer group from racingter.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

I also plan to buy a new helmet to match my new FZ1, the KBC given free from HL not washable one. I got one NoLan N84 but have been using for 2 yrs plus already. Washed still got smell. :p

 

I am considering Arai RX7 or Shoei X-11, So Naked1 voted X11! My friend keep recommending me Arai RX7. he using Arai RX7 only.

 

Any other thought guys?

After using arai for almost 4 years and when i switch to shoei J-force 3 and X-11 i will not go back to arai again, although i m still keeping my arai ram-3 for pillion usage.

its the rack itself.. nvr hit but near.. it only applies to sw motech racks tho..

 

im using sw motech with 40L h&b boxes...

my biggest suspect now has to be steering cone...

 

just checked it awhile ago...all screws in order...thx 4 d advice bro:thumb:

 

hm, any1 know how long does steering cone bearings last?

 

Chances are its sterring cone. i just encountered problems and changed them. Best you to change to roller bearings in my opinion.. our stock steering bearing too little grease and rusted a lil when i chnaged mine :)

had a X11 kato.. using for 3 years and nvr tot of changing to others..

e wind noise produce is very much lesser den arai..

Hahahah....think ever i mention to ppl that the amount of grease the factory applied in the steering cone is meant for storage purposes and not really for riding usage....you will need to do a re-greasing job when receiving your new bike that's including your steering cone,wheel axles and rear shock linkages..

If you have the chance try the brand that you like and wear it like 10 mins in the shop...do more research....try and error....
