To do list :

FZ-1S

1) Stop the vibration of the meter pannel

2) remove the rust from the mirror mountings

3)

4)

5)

5) tank slap? use damper lo.. overtightening of the steering cone will kill the bearings...

3) helmet lock, do it just like those sports bike lo.. under the pillion seat.. but i have yet to try it.. or get a cable lock and loop thru the helmet..

4) idling, increase via the idling screw on the left side of the engine..

tighten steering for tank slap?? never ever do dat. Dampers werk but its an expensive solution. i find adjusting your front and rear shocks works just as well to reduce tank slap.

and how much would that cost? probably a pair too if the price is better getting in a pair..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

wow... 70 - 210 zoom... really can zoom man.......... damn... another type of poison...................

Wah, change your avatar already ;)

Motorworld having promo for spy

scorpio...super ex (motorworld too)

steelmate...typical alarm

i was thinking of installing spy also....but then i wory it drain our bike batt sia >.

************

Checked with the guy at MW. The Spy alarm installation is messy, lot's of wire cutting and splicing here and there. They install so you don't need to have a headache. But, if knowing there's a wire mess in the bike doesn't bother you, then it's a cheaper option. The Scorpio is better but for the cleanest installation, you need to buy the bike model specific harness from scorpio (must order), which is really plug and play.

Battery drain was my concern too but I hate all the wire cutting more, so think I'll stick with alarmed disc lock.

the spy 2 way alarm dont need to cut wire. installed it myself, just dont tap the wire to ur ignition. black and red wire into ur batt and yellow wire signal lights. alarm still will sound when pple touch ur bike...:)

Didnt noe that installing an Alarm is sometimes kinda hassle unless ur are sure about where to install and manage all the wiring in our bike.

For the moment ill juz use my SPF disc lock that i got long time ago for my Blackie....shldn't be a prob until im ready to install an electronic alarm for my Blackie.....

Archer --- Thanks for the good tips on how to prevent Tank Slapping....hahax
