Hmm interesting.. Riding FZ1 & using the scottoiler for 4+ years already.

Been to Phuket, Krabi & various parts of Malaysia.. Total 70,000++km.

I hv only tightened the chain 2 times...

Maybe i cruise at 30km only

Eh bro flat spot as in when you r accelerating on ur bike is there a point where u feel bike is choked and not moving ahead.

Even if u service the carb n ur jets size are too big u r still running too rich. At least ur air filter is clean which is gd :D

Check ur carb pilot n main jet size. They will directly affect ur fc de. Anyway r u experiencing backfire?

No cases of backfire so far. thanks for the help so far. will get the mech to check my pilot and main jet. didnt catch the size wen the mech checked the other time. all i know he mention dynojet den somethiing something and drop the pin one level down. hahaha.

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....

how about we do a comparison? you stick with your scott oiler theory, i stick with my chainwax..

end of the day, we see who will spend more $$$ within the same time frame? say 6months?

most of the chain-breakage, should it happen, happens during the pull, not while cruising.. that's when the torque will snap the chain.

how do u compare wif me? according to time frame? i would say that is not a very wise comparison...

i go tourings but u dun... u tell me how to compare la? compare by mileage? lol...

jus ask around or urself, y manufacturer designed scott oiler lei? for fun meh? lol...

Lol. Actually when we lube chain. We actually needs to lube the pins in the chain. Scottoilet works in such a way that that gravity would pushes the oil into the pins and thus lubing it.

If u are meticulous in even lubing pins with ur spray ok fine lo. For a small amount u get less hassle though u still need to check ur oiler is working from time to time. If you utilize the oiler correctly u won't even need to worry bout flings.

correct... something very near to that...

but still, u can never get the type of constant lubing when u comes to long distance riding...

also, be sure not to let your pump to go dry especially for vSystem else u will have do "blow job" le which i guess most dun like... :D

Yes. Something like that. Carb is troublesome if u screwed it up. And basically everybody riding pattern differs. U need to find ur correct jetting. A properly jetted bike would run cooler as it's mixture is balance unlike stock bike which runs lean.
