once a orange and white paints stick onto my header. it become harden when it cool down.

i used pen knife to cut the thick paint and slowly not to scratch the metal surface. a fine sand paper to clear da excess from the metal surfaces and den used marguire polish to shine da header again. all took at least a few hours to see the changes. hand pain polishing it.

the feeling is like doing several several push-ups...

get the header hot hot.. then use the metal scrub to scrub it..

then after tat use autosol.. train your fingers first though...

u use metal scrub & autosol? on your ex scrambler or this fz1?

not the difference in number of headers i meant...

is the method of doing...

from my understanding, never use autosol on your bike metal surfaces because once you start, you can't stop...

not to say using metal scrub...

unless aRcHeR is trying to mislead ppl... lol...

the ZZzz sound will come after some time, it wont come so soon for new bikes

oic... then maybe we look at that...

remember i told u i might have a plan?

we can discuss that when we strip the head out...

last price quoted between 180 n 190 is $10 :dozed:

i'm ok with the price... i'm looking into better better turnings in regards to the tyre size.

using the 180's. Lighter, more responsive and turns into corners better compared to 190's, not to mention cheaper.

ahh... the answer that i'm looking for.. thanks..

metal scrub or wadever green green scrub also very bad...

if you really have no choice but to use, use steel wool...

it's the best out of all...

steel wool will not leave thin fine lines...

autosol will remove the protective layer of your headers and if you do not take care of it from that on, you will find that your headers will rust super easily...

hence i said once you start, you can't stop...

good luck to those who use wadever scrubs and wadever sol ba...

my 2 rusty cents...

aiyo.. you wan no lines, leave the bike at home la.. :faint:

the tiny batu from the front wheel sure will kenna the headers and have minor minor scratches..

dun use bull-energy to polish, just enough strength to scrub it off..
