yo bro, i got my PCv w dyno at racewerks on Norman's personal hands, perfectly done up nicely w near perfect A/F mix mapping...

yup, like wad dragonforce aka the guru for most stuffs, person who have actions more than just plain words, it's recommended to do all your performance mods before you pump in ur PC w dyno...

this is what i got before my PC over a spread period of 2 weekends, in order, AIS, air mod, re-route, flies, stacks, exhaust, decat, air filter, esrm...

mine is only pretty standard performance mod only la cus dragonforce for big bore, turbocharger, supercharger, megacharger, hypercharger etc etc lo... kekekeke!

 

i not guru lo.. no block off plates, cable reroute, velocity stacks, big bore, supercharger, turbocharger, megacharger, hypercharger.. i nv run dyno also..

 

Hello hello! I had no idea the Fazers had a little corner to ourselves on SBF

 

I called Motoworld today to ask about aftermarket exhausts for a Gen1, and they said they only get the Remus Revolution, and they'd have to order it in for me @ $1100 Anybody has any ideas on cheaper pipes and where I can get them? GPR, Arrow, etc?

 

hmmm.. what brand do you prefer? or wallet happy can with the cheapest available pipe can already? call distributors and ask lo.

Thanks for the info! I did call HKL, but it was too noisy and they couldn't hear me Will call them again later and see what they have.

 

I'm not very particular about the brand as long as it sounds nice and is not too expensive, so I'll check out anything that's within budget and is street-legal

still can play with it de... but of cus not 100% like other aftermarket forks or like other bikes...

can play with the fork oil & adjust the cramps if u feel there's a need...

 

Heard there's different spring with various compression to choose from, such a re-configuration need some professional dudes to work on it. Does fork oil have different rating like engine oil?

Actually is it very important to match shock adjustment to individual rider weight?

 

Speaking about pipes, still mesmerise by Laser Extreme pipes for Fazer 6. Very neat!

i got the manual for that and i'm going to play with that with my buddy very soon, that includes the correct preload measured to the rider's weight... yeah~

Yes fork oil also have different grades.. 5w 10w etc.. basically those that find their fork soft ought to use heavier oil as first step to improve it.

No doubt laser quads is nice for fz6.. but its heavier than the stock.. and comments go around saying it sounds like grasscutter/lawnmower. Lol.

My friend just bought a scorpion carbon exhaust with stainless steel cap for Vtec 2 for less than $680. But do take note that scorpion exhaust is slightly longer. pm me if u want to buy scorpion exhaust or LV maybe can get slightly cheaper for u. Do take note that i am not related to the shop or take any commission ,just sharing the best lobang for everyone. Cheers!!!

hi there people... I just change my exhaust to LV GP Style as well as de-cating the pipe.

I've not yet install a PC neither have i done any tuning after installing the exhaust. Only change my air filter to BMC.

The problem here is that, i experience backfires while riding especially at low gear. It sounds like fire works. haha...

Will this effect my bike in any way? Do any of u guys experience the same problem? Pls advice.

Oh thanks for the info on suspension set up, actually what's ur individual requirement in suspension? I read some article that its important that suspension don't bottom out easily.

 

Wah kind of turn OFF knowing that Laser Quad pipes for FZ6 sound like grass-cutter/lawnmower!
