If u can hear a ticking sounds mean you should get 'A LOUDER EXHAUST!!'...HAHAHA JUST KIDDING!... after speaking to alot of FZ1 owners/R1 04-06 owners/bike mechs, they say that it's normal as long as the tick sound is at a reasonable volume. Best to go ask a professional to check it out for a peace of mind bro:)

yup... his HIR is real good... i remembered i used it during my last hatyai trip where i set off at 4am + my usual jb trips... it's so damm brightening!

projectors with HID? do it projector + HIR la... save the trouble of installing a ballast blah blah blah...

Hello guys, it's been a long time since I came to this thread.

 

My FZ1S is just over a year old and had hit 30K km odd, though I am sure most of you guys have shattered this mileage by a long shot within the same time frame.

Give a few more months, and the valve clearance will have to be done, probably at Planet.

 

Anything to look out for given the rather heavy mileage of the bike? When do you guys refresh the forks/ shocks and other itsy bitsy stuff? thanks!

Quoted OTR but w/o insur. 2010 = $20k. 2011 = $20.9k non ABS model at HL.

 

I rather you go for the ABS version.

The additional cost is really small compared to the safety it offers.

Hi guys. I'm thinking of buying a new fazer 1. I can either pick 2010 model or 2011 model. Any of u know the difference between the 2? (except the colour difference)

 

I googled alot but cant find any difference between the 2...

i think most ex should be HL, as stated about $300.. i should be going to 1 of my regular workshop to do it, not more than $150.. + throttle body sync wont be more than $300 total.
