Guys, I am considering an aftermarket exhaust (yes, I am considering a lot of things for my bike ), and this is what I'm down to:

Remus Revolution carbon : $700

Scorpion carbon : $600

 

Any opinions for or against either of these? Any idea which one sounds better? Ideas on how I can compare the sound (my primary concern) before I buy?

 

Both of these are within budget, so price is not really a decided factor at the moment. Thanks!

bro, try to go youtube to listen for the sound... or look around to see who have them so that you can hear it personally...

neverthess, exhaust is very personal thingy... i may like akra, but you may dislike... so, it's up to your decision bro...

but if you're giving me the above two options only, i would choose scorpion... dun ask why... cus it's personal...

if the remus u r looking at is the hexagon type one, u can listen to mine for you to decide. for scorpion, i did saw an FZ6 using them but like no sound ley, very quiet, even when he pull up ahead of me, i still cannot hear any sound. just tell me when u want to listen to remus....

Not really hitting big $$ ... just that I feel bad for ignoring the old girl for so long when I didn't have any $$ Plus I figure I might as well get this done before some girl pops into my life and forbids me from spending money on my bike - I have seen the warning signs on too many of the Fazerians already! :P

i heard remus the silencer will fly off one leh....

scorpion i used to use on my cbr1000...screams only when u take out the silencer..

i also thinking of scorpion until unique offer 5 pcs of akra slip-on so i went the akra way...

the bracket needs to be modified a little in order to fit the exhaust.. if you want a ready solution confirm can install the rack, get the rack from @recko and sell off your original ones.

@konspire also says Scorpion is very quiet. The sound clip on their website isn't spectacular either. I hear Remus sounds better, but this part about it "flying off" is scaring me a bit....
