bro, bro siaoster is selling his. all LED tail lights should be 2 stage ones, tail light and brake light, check it out at the fazer sell thread. UM also selling.

 

 

yup its dual stage , only then it can serve as a tail light mah :thumb:

buy ram mount aqua box if you dun mind the bulkiness. otherwise sw-motech have some waterproof bags compatible with ram mounts (in which i am considering).

 

cheapest option: buy those waterproof bags that divers use, put your gps inside. tested and proven. my phone wasn't wet at all.

 

in which that reminds me, @pichudot i have brought the aqua box with me, will be at bugis this evening if you happen to be nearby pls give me a call. or if you home by about 6pm, i can meet you at your place.

 

okie thanks for mentioning the ram aqabox!..did a search and it looks like i'll be ordering the RAM mounting with aquabox together with garmin gps 205w from amazon sometime end next month:angel:

 

u got any cheap cheap lobang for the sw-motech case?

i am using the 500 and it's cunsperm waterproof

no problem..

they are actually not very ex. cheaper than the aqua box.. trying to source for good deals.

The bellypan used to look better in the 'before' pix :(

hmm i checked their website. looks like the promo is over..price of nuvi is $539 but with the promotion then, i was given a set of ram mount and cable for the bike, and a set of car mount and cable for the car..main thingy is it waterproof

Wow... ouch!

 

If you can spare it, mebbe try to adjust the compression damping up on your forks a little bit more.

Of course, watch it if your front end starts to chatter.

 

If your front is still soft and bottoms out, try upping the preload one click too.

orh...u got a good deal=)

 

but due to holiday season, garmin 205 is retailing at USD84....but is not waterproof...

It was disintegrating with each lap without my knowledge.The track was wet so it slid on the surface quietly till it broke into two on the last lap an hour later hahaha..

Well, anyway, it's a good thing the bellypan didn't break off while in the corner... or else your rear tyres would have run over it in a bank and...... Poof... massive get off.

 

 

Guess you won't be getting another bellypan? :p

good advice bro, I've dialled the front in to my liking but I guess the pan didnt like it:)

Bro, I think you misunderstood my message :)

 

1) I know @SiaoSter is selling his LED tail light set - I was asking if it's for Gen1 or Gen2.

 

2) I'm keen to replace my tail light bulbs only with LED items, same as @SiaoSter. i.e. directly swap incandescent bulb with LED bulb without changing the whole tail light unit or making other modifications.

 

The question in this case: Is it possible to get LED bulbs (plug & play) that have dual stage brightness to cater for tail light vs brake light? If so, where to buy and for how much?

 

@pichudot told me LimBatt keep a good selection of really bright LED bulbs, so I'll be checking them out sometime...
