oohh...how'd u know ;)....yeah. was an avid fan n a guitarist following all their songs from the garage days.....

 

i wish i could ride the lightning but then again, our fazers are the nearest to it.....hahaha....

 

am a huge 'tallica fan, was in e front in '93 when they came down:) still play drums to their covers since I started 18 years ago..

i wouldnt do mine there..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

Wah, another guitarist...thats good. Nvm la, e solo is always broken up into 2 sets mah...i can also play bass, drums n keyboard....hmmm keyboard???....since when metallica has keyboard notes.....

I got the Scorpion carbon oval end can. Looks really nice... sounds bassy at idle. But once I rev, the sound is almost close to the stock :sian:

During installation I took out the silencer for a while and it sounded damn nice... but I think this would be too easy to spot and likely to get me into trouble. So I'm evaluating my options now. Would really like to turn up the sound somehow!

 

On the other hand, I can feel the bike running smoother and picking up better at low revs (I seldom rev beyond 5k anyway). Not sure if that's expected or if I'm just imagining it o_O

there ARE other way(s) to turn up the sound a few db, other than the very obvious way of taking both silencers out. but the risk of getting caught is still there.. :)

I only tried removing the one at the end - it's screwed in place with an allen bolt, so it's easy to take out or put back. The down side is that the mod is also very easy to spot.

 

Tell me more about these other methods you mentioned ;)

well, the other way as i told you before that was done on my silencer is to cut the silencer. Scorpi silencer has this blocked end at the other tip which is inside the end can. you just need to cut this away n make it hollow. then the natural sound will come. but bottom line, even when cut, you still fix the silencer. physically outside, it will be seen as original but the sound is "enhanced". i repeat, "enhanced".

 

hv u done the certification inspection? do it before "enhancing" anything.....
