Woohoo! Finally saw tach error 7!

 

This proves that the exup servo and cables are still functioning. Now to purchase copper anti sieze lube, find a suitable spring, and reinsert the exup valve. Woohoo!

 

Except where the hell am i supposed to find a suitable spring? No chance in hell hong leong keeps stock of this part. Only chance is to salvage a spring from a stock yzf r1 '01. This bike being scrapped left and right, should be easy. Wish me luck!

If I were u, I'd remove the exup n get a slip on. Then rejet the carbs.

There shd be an EXUP removal kit tt consists of a plug or cct that eliminates yr Error code.

 

On my last svc I asked my mechanic to check. If mine was jammed I would've done that.

With my pulsar's roadtax and insurance coming soon, as well as the fazer's roadtax, getting an endcan and rejet is not an option at the current moment. I'll keep that in mind.

 

Ordering the exup terminator plug could be a potential pita.
