Anyone gt this before? My meter gt condensate inside for a few days and today gt this ER_1.. Bike can be crank and ride normally. :(

 

Maybe sun for a few days ok le...

 

Fault Code: 15

Diagnostic Code: 01

Symptom:

Throttle position sensor-open or short circuit detected.

Probable cause of malfunction:

Open or short circuit in wiring sub

lead.

Open or short circuit in wiring harness.

Defective throttle position sensor.

Malfunction in ECU.

Improperly installed throttle position sensor.

is that ohling springs or forks? if spring, i tell u won't regret it....i'm on it alrdy for a year....

 

springs are still springs, be it ohlins, hyperpro, penske, showa, bitubo, etc.. all the same..

 

the only difference is the spring-rates and whether is it a linear spring or progressive spring.

looks like a naked bike... is it fz1n?

 

here are the error codes for fz1...

 

yours looks like the error from the last picture which is ECU malfunction - no signal are received from the ECU...

 

so check your ECU connection(s)... it's somewhere below your air box...

anyone knows where can i get SW-MOTECH Alu-Rack Toprack? any idea how much is it????

 

chiap lee... around $300 just for the rack... adapter plate around $50... fits almost all tom, d!ck & harry box you can name it off, of cus with the correct adapter plate...

 

btw, jus now u called me? sorry i'm sleeping... hahaha...

He mention worse case change meter. Any idea how much it costs?

not cheap bro... if i din rem wrongly, the last person who ever changed the speedometer cost him a few hundreds... i can't rem how much now, but it should be between $300-$500...

 

hope i'm wrong...

becus, u can still ride without a speedo... fyi if u don't know...

 

but, if ur bike is unable to start or drive, it might be other things that is spoiled...

 

noticed that the comments said that if you have er-1 error code? you are unable to start your bike nor drive your bike...

good luck to those who parks their bikes in the rain openly without even a bike cover...

 

nowadays weather is like spoiled water pipe...

 

it's not too good to let your bike to be contact with rain continuously and moisture will be created, rust will come soon too...

Hmm.. But my mech tested the meter.. Bike was able to start and run smoothly... He tried plugging and unplugging the meter while engine running. Nw my meter only show the 3 bar of fuel.. Nth else on screen.. Sian :(

if that is the case, i think the chances of your speedometer being fried is higher...

 

remember this picture? does it reminds u of brightness control mode?

 

looks like it's stuck there... if yes, your PCB board might be fried... usually it might works if you dry it up, else it's deem for a change...

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.
