Alright !! Thanks man !! Still deciding which bike to get Fz8N or Fz1N . . .

Personally i prefer e S version. Becoz ur speedo and e electronics at e front has more protection from e rain. Of coz even N version, all e cables and stuff r waterproofed but i just feel better with e "roof" fpr my cables. Lol.

Also better in terms of diverting e wind but i think stock S windshield not high enough.

Have them checked on the coils and they really spray water to detect which one spolit. And replaced only 1 for me now my bike is so smooth now :cheeky:

Hey do you guys experience when riding on road u will feel bumpy in front?

Or bike heavy so it's normal? My weight is 90+ the bike is heavier so bumpy is normal? or do i need to adjust the suspension in front?

Last time i riding super 4 feel like more smoother sia maybe super4 lighter my weight heavier so more stabler?:shy:

Just got my fz1n so ask alot ;X

Fz suspension sucks especially the rear for both 1 & 6

If on the budget, play around with the settings for the front & rear.

My settings may not be applicable to u since I ride 2 up mostly with side panniers.

But if got $ change suspension will definately make the bike more enjoyable.

Yeap, stock S windshield will just make the wind hit u in the chest. Unless got tank bag in front...

Me riding FZ6 bro. I cannot resist the power, so better keep my distance from 1000cc bikes. The last time i rode CBR 954, I achieved 328km/hr.

stock meter of the cbr954 can display more than 299km/h? or you used gps to clock? 328km/h is damn fast, even with 10% error rate you are going at 300km/h.

I can't really answer, coz I'm only the sub rider of the bike. So not sure if any mod on the speedo but it read 328 before I close throttle. I shall not reveal the road I travelled on but I can say its on a bright sunny afternoon with light traffic and clear open wide lanes to allow the speed. Indeed I must agree, any minor error can coz my live.

Even with a full faced helmet, laying flat on the tank and hiding behind the wind screen, the wind is still very strong. I used lots of strength holding my neck straight, so cannot check blind spot at all. Any point to check at such speed? Haha... I guess not but still have to look out for law enforcers right?

Can anybody recommend a good shop I can take my beloved FZ6 for servicing? I live near Little India but can take it anywhere...just want a clean and professional shop that has some respect for the work they do and the bikes they service. Thanks!

where have you done servicing for your previous bikes? can always ask them to service your fz6 if you are comfortable with them.

otherwise you can go bikeworkz to get your fz6 serviced. be prepared of the waiting time though.

Thanks dragonforce. I've been in SG 2 years and riding for less than 1yr. I've been taking it to the shop nearby, (next door to 219 Motoring...or whatever it's called), off Balesteir Road but the shop is a small filthy garage and judging by how they work when they do my oil changes I would never trust them to do anything else. I've see Loois garage which has the reputation and you can see clearly their appreciation for their work, but was told they will not service bikes that are not bought from them, (not sure if that's true). Thanks for the recommendation on Bikeworkz.

Anyway it's history already. My age and reflexes does not allow me go at high speed, if not my wife can collect insurance sooner.
