just wondering if EFI models are easier to maintain than carb bikes. and also if it's cheaper as well to maintain.

no need discuss about cost of the bikes itself as EFI is relatively newer technology hence the higher price for such bikes i think.

feel free to correct me if i'm wrong and help to answer if possible :cheer: :cheer:

No doubt EFI save fuel as it calculates the amount of fuel / air mixture while carb is fixed. However, some say that carb is easier to repair when you are say touring in Mysia as the fuel injection unit may not be readily available in the motor diam in the midst of nowhere.

EFI has the best perfomance compare to carb.

but the carb has better fuel efficiency.

my ex bikes were a SRAD750 96 model and a kawasaki zx9 98 model.

both bikes have better fuel efficiency... i normally get 220 - 240 kms for a full tank on the NSH.

but now my 954 n 05 R1 very hard to get above 200km when on NSH.

but EFI, more smooth n better power. of couse feel nice cos it new technology lah.
