Nope.. Its the 250 valve.. They have parts for the 250 cos the gv250 riders still service thier bike there.. I rarely see a 125 there.. So yeah, gaban, youre lucky to have a 250 if youre willing to pay more..

 

i noticed dat my engine uses a gv250, not gt250. i think both are similar, only the body is diff.

Same engine bro.. Same goes to the gv125 and gt125 and gt125r.. Even the 650 all same engine.. We have one hyosung from italy, nicely redesign like a monster.. The brand is italjet.. Do check it out..

need to replace my chain, its worn. called up ban hong and heng mtrs, they got no 250 spocket. only chain. well, nd to go jb on sat morning to look for d spokets. if theres none, i might just change d chain only.

need to change spoket, chain, eo, oil filter.... luckily my engine still in gd condition, just need to clean d carb. gona order d 650 shock from u soon. and maybe gona change tyres soon.

Bro, in order to use the 650 shock, you need to use 150/60 rear.. With the new tyre set up, one tooth up front sprocket is needed..

icic. ive checked at unique motor sport website that they have size 520 6 holes spockets. does d 250 using 6 holes?

i found out that d 250 rear spoc size only 46 n 44. currently, im using 46. gona check d no of holes later. if 6 holes, dats gd.

just called up UM toh guan abt d spocs. they said need to place order. darn it! 2molo morning i have to go jb find. if no spocs available, then i just hav to change d chain.

I'm also facing the same problem . Fixing my bike at bike shops kinda feel like I'm burdening them instead. Want to order Frm the mechanic also he take very long to find

I think no need first. I know dat its best to change spocket n chain 1 set. But my spocket is just 8 months old. D annoying issue is my x ring chain. Im gona change to standard o ring chain 2molo. 250 using 520 chain right?

I emailed UM abt spocs n chain availability for 250. They replied,

 

“AFAM sprockets (steel) + DID X ring chain for Hyosung GT250 Comet or R. $280 with installation. Deposit $100 required. Order required. Order will take from 2 weeks to 6 weeks.”

My area here got few comet.. One stay private house but the bike nv maintain at all.. Got one 250r, good condition.. Got one black comet, quite fast uncle riding fba plate... always see him from bishan riding towards amk.. But always cannot catch up with him.. I also donnue what he did to his bike.. Saw him alot of times.. Got see another young couple on a yellow comet.. So far Ive seen about 5 gt250 on the road including gabans one..
