i'm currently taking at SSDC cos it's near to my place. Wha, P-plate cut top bottom left & right ah. Will look smaller right. Actually i'm thinking whether to change to the RXZ head just to put the P-plate cos rxz head got a small windshield so can put behind it. What do you think? Then for the P-plate on the back i saw a yellow comet used a sticker & stick on the portion with reflective red stripe, above the number plate. Looks good but dunno TP can see or not.

I suppose you guys are right. Anyway i'll only be having my TP 3 weeks down the road. So damm stressed now cos i'll be having 2 exam papers followed by my TP in 3 consecutive days.

anyone have problems starting their bikes very early in the morning or after rain? last week in the morning while warming up my bike, less than than 10 secs, the engine sound becomes quieter/weaker and died. the timing also a bit lower ard 1K cos normally mine is 1.2/1.3K. after that i tried starting the bike and after it starts, it dies by itself. then, it like cant even start. after about 5 mins when it finally starts, i reved it til ard 2-3K for about 3 mins than finally can. the next day i went to workshop the mech told me the timing is ok but he says if cant start, just rev it at ard 3K for awhile before moving off. this problem happened to u guys before?

last time, my bike idling is around 1.4/5(after warming up...etc), but when just start, the rpm is like 1~1.3.. then it will... die off.. quite similar situation like u.. Just like u, got to start and throttle 3~5k.. then after that wont die off.. I tell myself.. maybe engine cold, should be norman...

 

but somehow now it seldom happen to me.. usually wont die off.. and i dun think the hot weather has a hand in it.. i can only remember general servicing and washing of carb in the recent months...

 

wonder if washing of carb helps? Whats ur mileage like and u got wash carb b4?

eh.. few days ago rain like crazy i cant start my bike.

after trying many times then can.. i guess thats normal.

 

mine idle rpm is around 1.4k when engine start from cold.

sometimes die off after awhile like you experienced.

i'll usually hang my helmet on the throttle and let it rev by itself at 3-4k rpm hahaha.

 

after riding when the engine is HOT the rpm will idle at around 1.7 - 1.9..

 

i believe theres nothing to worry about bro. just rev and revvv!!!

ur mileage is 68000km or 6800km? quite a big diff...

 

There was once my carb screw up and can only use gear 1.. Once hit gear 2 die, no matter how much i throttle.. bo bian tow to bike shop, they diagnose the problem to be from carb.. Mech wash carb and shake head.. so dirty... that time my mileage was about 38800km.. they wash and tune, now so far so good(touch wood)...

 

my bro bike never wash carb also no problems. guess abit depend on luck.. i observed these two days, my bike start from cold, idling is usually quite consistent.. even after warm up..

anyway my bike's FC improved after tuning. its around 28km/litre now. what a relieve.. petrol prices keep increasing. O.O

hmm nowadays after that time cannot start when no sound of crank den go service he take out everything check battery(mech said still good), change EO and spark plugs, my bike like when start very early in the morning, sometimes will die off. so now must open throttle a bit, den start. after dat still must maintain rev. haiz... hmm now 2 times alr i calculated my bike FC is 26km/litre. and yah, my mileage 6000km only. thanks ricky for helping me get this bike. that amran never give u comission ah?

I ever hit 33/litre.. but till now no idea how i did it.. currently average 25/litre..

 

Anyone change chain and spocket before? Do tell me the place and price? I was quote about 170 from B.H..

 

How about the side stand safety feature? anyone got problem with it? mine engage gear, engine die.. sian...

as for my side stand safety feature. i can engage gear 1 and ride all the way with my stand down.. lol. i guess mine's disabled. im fine with it though. if you want to off that safety thingy why not ask the mechanic help you with it?

Becos my chain lifespan up.. cannot be tighten anymore.. so might as well change altogether.. Mech jerk bike up, roll rear wheel, can see the chain movement something like moving up and down, not smooth..
