Hey c4ble, that was my bike that you saw. You also doing a course there? Are you the Blue GT 250 with a top box? Seen it almost everytime i go to SIM for lessons.

I'm taking a part-time course, Accounting & Finance from UOL. It's so difficult doing a UOL course.

Anyway, this tread seems to be so quiet lately. No meet-ups / gathering / chill ??? I still remember trying to organising the other time when Nelo was having his 1 week break but did't make it..

The manual says 150/70/17 for the rear... now... anyone here uses a different size? eg: 150/60/17, 140....etc?

Pros and cons if any?

I am thinking of changing to a 140? Just a thought...

Hmmm when i bought my bike it came with 160/60 for my rear.. 140 should be ok cos that's th stock size for a brand new DRZ.. Looks ok to me.. Anyway our bike should be ok lah..

Wanna ask about the tyre pressure.. How much do you guys pump for the front & rear??

nowadays, i will also pass by SIM, NP when going home from sch(SP). do honk if see me ok? hahaa

160/60? Wont the width be "touching" the swing arm? My first tyre change, mech say any bigger might kana the swing arm.. But bigger means heavier, smaller means lighter? Which would maybe means slight improvement in acceleration?

Front - Rear (PSI)

29 - 32 Solo Riding

29 - 36 Dual Riding

I usually pump about 31/32(F) and 34~36®..

Hmmm okok but mine came with a 160/60 when i bought it.. Yes you're right, bigger means heavier but when it comes to cornering, i put my faith in my rear tyre hahaha... I normally pump 210 front and 230 for rear.. think it might be a bit high..

Hey Icearmour, is that your bike in the pic??? It looks so clean! ! !

That time when i got ym bike not too long i also had the same prob.. It could be either that the engine oil has been tooped up too much or you need to change your tensioner..

Hmmm i once tried 130kmph on my bike & that was in the CTE tunnel which had a gentle slope.. if on flat i can reach from 110 - 120 plus..
