oh yes..sorry bro...i actually remembered that after i posted that u got suzuki...but then got lazy....hehe....hope u enjoying ur bike...

 

now am selling my bike and looking for a automatic scooter...still confused...should i upgrade and get a 400cc bike instead or should i just try an automatic first and then see if am ok???

No problem man, my sv so far so good, kind of trying to restore abit here and there.. I mean, afterall, there are less than 12 of it left in Sg, must sayang it more loh...

Hi Phantom, I'm still trying to find a bike shop in Malaysia carrying Naza Blade's parts. No luck so far. The price of the sprocket in singapore is so expensive and not durable. 1 year and my sprocket and chain is gone. Never had to do it with my S4 and sv before.

sorry for not reading the whole thread. i have a few questions. how much does a second hand hyosung comet gtr 125 and the naked one cost? and how much is the insurance for 18 yrs old?

 

I am thinking of getting either this bike or daelim roadwin. please help me choose and list down the good and bad points if you are free. thank you =)

helo, nice to meet u all. i came across the comet 250cc around amk n was suprise to c it as a vtwin engine. it reminds me of the yamaha fz kite 150 taiwan. anybody knows the basic specs? like top speed, tank capacity, mileage, maintanence? etc. thnks! btw, which shop got sell dis kind of bike?

kinda interested in getting the comet 125 after my TP. saw one at a bike shop and was stunned at its size.

the problems encountered by comet owners as stated in the thread are

 

- Slow pickup

- Must throttle awhile after starting engine? (correct me if im wrong)

- Brake pads wear out easily due to the massive weight thus more breaking.

Parts are available from malaysia but I have yet to visit the Naza dealer. Locally, I feel that the parts are overpriced. Sprockets are only available at Bike Pro(Ban Hock ....????). The relays are also one of a kind but I managed to get from a car parts shop at rowell rd.

 

Riding my comet250 for 2 years and no much problem encountered. Top speed is abt 135gps(165 meter speed). It super friendly on the tyres and very light and flickable compared to my previous s4 and the sv650.

 

I'm able to get about 460kms with 16 litres of petrol.

Doubt there is any street legal aftermarket exhaust.. If talking about non-approved type.. then it is probably limited by your imagination (and wallet)..

You can try bike production along serangoon road(google for exact location). They are the dealer for hyosung. Check with them for pricing...etc.

 

Next turn right to lavender, building before Ducati and 219, there should be a red comet there.. Just to note, it has been there for quite a while... really quite awhile..

 

Couple of weeks ago, saw a black comet at one of the shops before HKL.. cant be sure if the bike there to service or for sale.. Good luck...
