Clarification. I do not know any of the phantom knights and I did not post on the thread asking who want to stay over. Pai seh. too rush also. With indecisiviness and the rate of posting, get confirmnation from the other pple going already thurs night liao.

 

CJ: my friends and I still prefer staying in Malacca for the night, then at most morn go to KL, would not prefer to go genting.

 

If plans clashed, then its all right, not fair for us to impose our preference on u also

ok i will msg, or pm furbykong ( the org) to tell him of our plans. He should be fine with it as he already indicated during the pre-trip meeting that for him, its the journey, not the destination.

 

However I am not sure if we should open it to the rest. Logistics will be very troublesome. And if one week to go, very hard to get confirmation from everybody. In addition, its our exam week.

 

The usual practise will also be to get the payment from them first for the lodging. Any defaultment is very hard to handle

chain n lock is the best soln , i feel..

if gt nutin 2 chain to, den chain 2 or afew bikes 2gether( but will nid a long chain)

Am more concerned now at confirming how many ppl going then can book the hotel rooms, cos of the payments.

 

At most if there are slightly more than anticipated who are interested in staying, we crash the rooms and squeeze lor... haha!

Pigsmu and i were initally looking at New Century Makota Hotel... the service apartment styled ones opposite the Makota shopping centre... their rooms have seperate bedrooms and can accomodate quite alot of people.

 

Plus the parking is in the hotel compounds... abit more secure.

would u all prefer to stay in KL instead on malacca? Cos my fren telling me that at nite, malacca is like a ghost town while KL is more happening!!!! But if we were to stay in KL, the room rates will be more happening too!!! (if u wan those hotels wif their own carparks.) Might have to pull up to $100 per head for lodgings. But i would say, some $$ cannot scrimp one. Would u rather spend more or take a bus back to singapore? Anyway, my fren is asking everyone to bring an extra helmet juz in case there is a case of a magical self disappearing bike. For those who will have $$ prob, plz let me know asap. Kinda hard to plan if everything also got constraints......... I got enuf constraints problems from QM liao so plz save me from even more agony............

last but not least, PLZ SERVICE THE BIKE B4 THE TRIP!!!! We will leave those who bike breakdown on the highway if we discover that the reason is becos the bugger never service the bike.

Bro.......u wan me from where lay one chalet in KL for u??? KL is like town leh....... Then how? Wheelie the bike into the lift to our lobby? While KH can use his XR to wheelie up the stairs? Me and Jason are gonna get disc locks and perhaps chains to chain the bikes together. Anyone out there got chain that can like chain a few bikes together one plz bring.

We'll be staying in KL K?

As u all know, wan to book hotel need $$ and ya particulars. And if i have to cancel, there is a canceling charge as well.... So I need u all to gimme ya full name and IC no and to pass me $80 (singapore dollar) as a common fund. Plz dun complain ex cos although we stay anywhere also can, I rather we get a better place to ensure the safety of the bikes. This fund should cover cost of our hotel and food. If not enuf, we top up, if got extra, we at the end of the day spilt the $$ up. K?
