Monsteramy's 3 choices are semi slicks and doesn't include 2CT. hee.

If i was given that question, i'll go dor the Pirelli DC (Dragon Corsa) :thumb:

A 180/55 feels good on the track. Unless ur rims are too wide then u have to get a 190/55.

Dragon corsa may not be to many ppl liking.

Not really...

I know lots of people who changed to Pirelli Dragon Corsa

And all Ducati 1098 stock tyres are Pirelli DC.

guys wanna change my r6 stock tyre coz wearing off after 1 track session. i use my bike everyday to sch, to work, to track. seem like Diablo Corsa III and Michelin 2CT is the 2 type u guys recommended,

but question is can semi-slicks like Michelin Power Race, Pirelli Dragon corsa fit for daily use?

2CT is good, but e price is out of my budget.

a shop recomman mi to get a Dunlop qualifier. is for road use and track use.

$370.

my second choice is Bridgestone BT 015. but as Monsterarmy said, he is using BT015, not da good.

issit true da is all base on ourself e style of riding???

I m confuse to uno which to get.

alot of pple say Raceteck2 is good. but i do travel more on rd dan on track. find it abit wasted if to use K2 on rd.

ny guys know where can i get Dunlop Qualifier 120 Front - 190 rear in a good price?

thanks in advance

I'm using Power Race.. meant to be mostly for track but I'm travelling more on the road instead due to work and other commitments.

My advice is, 2CT.. using Power Race mostly for road, heart pain.. it's a superb track tires.. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

The Michelin Pilot Power should be good enough for weekend trackies.

Got them on my DRZ and they last pretty long and yet grip like those 2CTs too.

Value for money IMHO.

Ractec, Power Race, SuperCorsa, Diablo Supercosa, Race Attack, 208GP-A, BT002, etc are DOT Race tyres. They are almost the same to most of us, unless you are riding at 1.50s or faster in PG. The other factor which is different is the price.

If you are a regular trackie, the price factor would be the 1st in consideration. Whatever LAB/HKL stocks, used to be what you would see commonly in PG.

My 2 cents.

Back then, remember we used to start off on Diablo Corsa, and eventually go Dot Race? It's great that many track guys are willing to spend on Dot Race even when it's just starting, but yet get too carried away by tyre tech talks.

Charn on a pair of Diablo Corsa would smoke the most of us on Dot Race anyways.

Yup Charn did some test for Brigestone 002's.

apparently its to test the product before it got launch..

But guess the tire never hit the shores yet..

Have spoken to some of the malaysian guys apparently the tire is very good..

But the tire cost a bomb over there..so no chance to test..

hi guys wanna ask corsa3 or 2ct Pilot Power last longer?

I've heard the Corsa III can last well than other brands. Especially the front tyres. Its a difficult question to answer unless they are both are tested exactly the same way. (Same rider with riding style, same bike, tyre pressure & suspension settings, etc)

I've notced my friend's 2CT lasted quite well too. But he now prefers the Corsa III.

It all depends on how hard u ride on the track and what pressure u're running them in.

When i was still new on the track. My Corsa III could last me abt 7 sessions on the track. each session is abt 100km/2hrs, Timing above 2mins.

But now it seems like my Corsa III can last me abt 4 or 5 Sessions. 100km++/2hrs, Timing below 2mins.

Hope my experience gives a rough guide.
