err.. did u fellas check the wiring.. cos for mine.. its just the wire intermitten.. so resulting in the flickering of the FI light..

Hi Fellas,

 

I'm Back.... Finally...

 

I'm usually in Ubi every evening to pick up my other half who works in Tai Seng.

 

Yes, $1.3K poorer (after many many checks - trust me!!!) The bike is now better than normal. Smooth smooth smooth engine... Pick up leaves me smiling like an idiot and car drivers wondering why they spend SOOO much on their wheels to get blasted by an ugly thing with 2 wheels and a box.

 

Any body going touring? I wanna sell a custom rack and box for the X at $100 bucks (negotiable - but not a charity ya). Spread the word around. Gimme a buzz @ 9797 1003.

I can meet up on weekdays as well. After work about 8ish to 9pm.

 

Something to share...

I cleared a whole LOT of carbon from my exhaust last night. Was like an old Malaysian Lorry heading up Genting on 1st gear...

 

Lao Jeow biker friend told me my my pipes were choked..

1. Suggested i use 2 thick rags and block both pipes (tight!) while he revved the engine.. about 6000 rpm (roll on, roll off)

 

2. Caution! Make sure you dont put your face too close to the pipes cos I was covered in soot.

 

3. If you do it for too long, the rag can burn. So when you let go the rags when it gets too hot, make sure the person revving the engine stops or u get exhaust blast in your pretty face.

Yo Eddy doest the clogg up pipe actually triggers off any FI sensors? .... just curious.... anyway, dun think should do alone unless you are sure wat to do.... anyway y the clogging up of the exhaust with the cloth? wats the purpose?

 

let me look at my nxt week schedule so i can arrange a meet up time for us on weekdays perhapes :smile:
