Pulsar vs Spark

Hi guys, I'm considering between a pulsar/spark..

 

Can you enlighten me the pros/cons of each bike..ranging from price to maintenance to performance..or any other points you can give..THANKS!

I ride a x1r but i see puslar on the road the speed quite okay and full tank can go up to 600km? Not sure and mine only 170-180km so u gonna visit kiosk station alot alot time! I cant really give u an answer which is good but is all down to u. U cant compare an orange and a apple because is clearly two different thing

Spark over Pulsar anytime. You can't compare Spark's reliability to Pulsar.

IF you like bike with tank. Consider Honda Tiger or Yamaha FZ150i. You are buying their reliability.

Ya not reliable. KTM duke 200 and 125 are targeting the emerging market just to expand their market share, you wouldn't see these models in Europe or other developed countries.

 

Here in Singapore a Honda or Yamaha, you can ride to any bike shop or even in JB to service they have common parts with other models. Less inventory cost for the dealers to hold spares and ship in bulk to enjoy economies of scale. For Pulsar or KTM, you have to go back their respective dealer you are at their mercy to pay premium price for your spares parts.

Not as reliable as spark. Indonesia, singapore and Malaysia's most popular under-bone motorcycle is popular for a very good reason. Is reliable and spares are easy and cheap to find.

 

All the made in India bikes, spareparts die die also must go back to universal motors. one word- monopoly.

resale value is rock bottom too.. TS if you are wise, go for the spark. Save alot of heartaches.

If spark had the tank size of Bajaj, it would go as far. So get the Spark, I'm thinkin of getting one as a side bike as well.

You can try ntuc insurance as you are 19 year old and p plate.

but spark is a girly bike. Pulsar is macho. Its only south east asians can tahan girly bikes like spark. No where else in the world men ride bikes like spark.

Like what others have post, reliability and easy parts access that's more important. Whether it is a girly or macho or whatever that you deemed it to be, depends on the one who ride.
