Hello uncle soh, i think roy was referring to me actually. :cheeky: I got the bottle from tanjong pagar plaza for abt $11.50 since the auntie said that max-cycle oil had sold out. Anyway after the oil chg i still have probs changing gears, it gets stucked sometimes. Could it be that bcos the oil is for car use?? Hmmm...

oh ya....i just changed my air filter to K&N RC1130....courtesy of Roy....had to remove the entire air box, battery compartment and fuel tank just to fix the bugger!

All in all, the sound was "oohh" just like the old days of riding a race bike...the sound of the air being sucked into the carb...:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Pick up was better than stock, using mj 98 with slot 3, air screw still at 2 1/4

I'll take a pic of it tomorrow after i clean my bike....haha

Total cost was $100++ after installation

K&N :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :bounce: :faint:

fork and inverted fork are still suspensions.. wad difference does it makes?

Results of the K&N Filter.

i) Greatly improved acceleration. Hit max speed 110kph on slightly rich settings quickly.

ii) No problems with steep slopes esp on 15/42 sprokets. Better pickup!

iii) Improved FC! Usually will hit redline on fuel gauge when i hit 330 km. Now only 3/4 mark. Bike feels more perky.

iv) Didn't i mention to you all about the sound??!

v) Easier to clean your rear monoshock suspension.

vi) Looks way cool without the damn airbox

Will upload the pics tomorrow.....for now...gotta do homework....sigh :weep: :weep: :weep:

welcome to rw thread.

200cc???

500cc piston looks like a tin can.

i think it is more likely the new model kit 140cc tat the mech is talking about.

S$400 is cheap if u compare to 160cc in europe (400euro=S$800+).

should be a worthy mod if it is really 200cc.

from wat i know LTA only check cylinder capacity if there r suspicious of illegal declaration.

so far i know of 1 case, happens to hyundai car where they declare a 1800cc to be 1600cc.

others r probably 2-strokers, they r more suspicious on engine mods by ROV than any 4-strokers.

enlargement r not really tat great in terms of over-bored for larger pistons by 4~5mm dia. (140cc).

u have the power rev to redline faster n easier.

max speed will still @ 110 kph after engine mod due to drive gear ratio.

change front/rear sprockets to 15t/40t will bring it's max speed to 130 kph@redline.

Hi there, I am Malaysian, I would like to sacrifice my 125cc roadwin as experiment for the 200cc modification.

I would like to know the 200cc piston cost, can someone send the piston for me? I will pay for it. I will send the experimental report after the modification. Why? Because I am tired riding this bike at 100KM/H. I want it speed to be 160KM/h at least.

what I had done to this bikes: ai already change tire and sprocket

140/70 rear = front 14 teeth + rear 38 teeth. Still it running 100km/h at 7200RPM. Please support me (I don’t mean financial support) , give me advice and information.

Controlled gear shifting at 5.5-7k rpms

As you can see bros....K&N rocks....as usual.....:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Still planning to order an extra set of RC2310 tapered type filter. Per piece is $80. Min order is 4. Anyone still willing to try out?
