uncle soh, my fen told me that by removing the silencer, it's illegal modification of pipe. can be fine up to 1k. true ah?

Last nite I checked my RW spark gun and found that the gun's edge (mouth) has broken apart into small pieces inside the 'O' rubber which cover it. The spark plug body also got mark of water existence. Think that's the main reason why the engine dies off when riding in rain. I guess the previous mechanic who changed my spark plug did broke the spark gun and cover it back with the rubber. Said that they were Daelim authorized dealer but the mech didn't know exactly how to change spark plug on RW. I noticed that when I got my RW serviced by them (change oil, filter & spark plug) a few months back, the mech just pull roughly the spark cable gun from the top of the cylinder head cover instead of removing the spark plug cover.. Since that, I prefer to DIY when it comes to regular service on my RW.

 

Anyway, thanks Uncle Soh for highlight me of spark gun cable. Otherwise I wouldn't notice that my RW spark gun had been ruined and keep on looking for other reasons caused my RW engine dies..

it is not uncommon for big bikes to have nitro feed to boost extra power.

 

to boost up rw power, three points on carb setting is all u need to do.

1) pilot screw - loosen (anti-clockwise) by 1/4~1/2 turn.

2) jet-needle eclip@slot - 3rd or 4th.

3) accelerator cam cable adjustment - turn full throttle with no play, tighten up by 0.5~1mm (caution - don't over tension it as there r no more room or something else will break).

Such mods are illegal and may have severe consequences on your bike's engine.

cus im gonna spend 3.6k to get it excl. insurance coverage compared to my friend whom spend 1k to get his cub incl. of insurance, road tax, etc..

 

so for this bike, max speed can hit only 110kph? cant go any higher?...

but i heard this bike 110kph can beat those 130 kph.. from tat uncle tat promoted this bike..

he selling for 3k , road tax till jan 2007 ..

gonna pay lta for ownership transfer myself..

eg they sell the bike for 3.6k

i down payment 1k

left with 2.6k , and then 2.6k i pay over 3 yrs.. that is 72.22 per mth..

how do they count it at?..

i fear tat if i buy from cka, after i downpay for the bike, they will ask me pay more and more (hidden charges) which they did not mention before they sell.

Anyways, he wanna know, how fast from 1km- 100km if any body know. highest speed? and fuel i know... 10km/L. hehe.. thanks fer the help ya...
